    Douglas vs Klitschko?

Visually Douglas looks the better boxer but Vitali was very awkward and unorthodox and would outland Douglas and throw him off his game.

Vitali had a much better chin, hit harder and had more heart and desire. I'm going to give Douglas the benefit of the doubt and say he will be competitive for a few rounds but would be stopped late.

Douglas was terrible. He had one great night, but the rest of his career was terrible. What can be said?

An underachiever but "terrible"? Other than Holyfield, which fights did you think he looked terrible in?

Yeah, he was a middle-of-the-road contender with some talent but questionable motivation. Basically, a typical 80s heavyweight.

He was no worse than anyone Vitali beat.

That is the key the Tokyo Douglas being the best Douglas vs the best Klitschko and if this is the criteria then Buster wins. Buster on one night showed his potential and after that went back to his substandard performer....what a tease to fans but also a treat the only thing missing in Tokyo was the best Tyson

It's a over used saying but it really depends which buster turn s up. Certainly in a few fights he turned up out of shape or mind not on the job , and ended up losing. But when he was at his best he could be a excellent fighter, ask Mike Tyson.
So if the focused, in shape buster comes along, then it's it's a close decision win for him. If the other Douglas turns up, then vitali stops him in 8 rounds.

Douglas would have better chance of defeating Vitali brother Wladimar
who could have a lapse of concentration and focus in losses to Sanders,
    Brewster and Puritty.
Vitali against the Tokyo Douglas would be a enthralling fight where Vitali
out boxes Douglas and stops him late.

Vitali all the way, unless it's the Tokyo version then I gave Buster a good chance.

Tony Tucker he quit. Evander he quit. He was a guy who ballooned in weight and didn't have that many great wins. He had one great night. He is no match for Vitali.. None.

Even Tokyo version. Buster was so bad all the other times, you have to think Mike Tyson had to do with that win.

With Buster it was a lot of ifs. He never really shined so I have to think the Tyson fight had to do with Mike, and a very good style matchup. I give him credit, but nothing in regards to beating anyone else in history.

I'd definitely lean towards Vitali winning this one.

I never understand how Buster Douglas "on his best night" is somehow expected to beat guys like 6'8 Vitali Klitschko because he showed how to be 5'10 Mike Tyson.
Not only that, he's going to give "any heavyweight in history major problems" when most of them were so physically and stylistically different to Tyson it's not even funny.

Why? What advantages does he have over Vitaly?
