Buster Mathis was a good fighter that gave Smokin Joe a great fight. He wins this convincingly.

Why is Kirk Johnson still training?

He, not Kevin Johnson, should be fighting Bruce Seldon next month in Atlantic City.

Mathis Sr. was a full league above Kirk Johnson in terms of boxing ability and toughness, he would win this fight with ease and I`d bet the house on it. He was very light on his feet for such a big man and threw very good combinations to both the head and body, and he would be one step ahead of Kirk all night en route to a wide decision win.

I'd say Johnson has more power, to be honest. What he did to Maskaev was impressive.

And, when he came into the Donald fight in decent shape (238 pounds) he outboxed a very good boxer there.

He's underrated and looked down on because of his weight and laziness/wated potential, I'd say.
