Hydraulix,,,,,,,,,,,,,You're 'scrapin' the bottom of the barrel. I presume the elder Buster Mathis. Very fast hands, and when 'mad' could do alot of damage. Buster by TKO in 3. How about Butterbean vs. Lamar Clark.
Mathis was a very good Hvywt. Quick hands, very good Boxing skills, and foot movement that was comparible to Alis although although not as quick or consistent. Check his fight against Frazier. He aquitted himself quite well. As for this match, Mathis and it aint close. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_WMilWtefU[/ame]
The canvas may give way when B B hits the deck. A good, solid ,fast handed pro, against a 4 round ,one handed, limited , predictable tough man type. = A massacre.
Kind of puts things in perspective doesn't it? Buster easily out pointed Chuvalo. Chuvalo v Bean might be entertaining for a couple of rounds, likewise Bean v Galento, but he loses to all of them.
Buster doesn't just win. he completely destroys him in the first 2 rounds. If Butterbean hit him once Buster would go crazy and go in complete slugger mode and stop him with ease
And Clark might nail him. Buster, for all his blubber, was a very good boxer that, for whatever reason, wasn't able to take it to the next level. Beat Joe in the 64 Olympic trials. I agree, this thread is a joke and an insult to Mathis.
