I don't recall Mathis being exactly hard to hit. Zhang would be able to load up his punches and probably tear the space time continuum. I don't think Zhang's 2 round endurance would even be a factor.
He was no defensive wizard from what I’ve seen but he was very quick on his feet for a tubster, it’s not like Frazier had that easy of a time landing on him especially early and Zhang isn’t going to bring that type of pace throughout either. It might, ironically, come down to who has better conditioning and I think it’s Mathis. Then again you’d also have to assume that Mathis would be more hittable here due to (from what I know) never facing a southpaw. Zhang probably finds his timing eventually.
