I'd like to see some real verification of that $40 million figure. Tyson in his pomp never earned 40 million for a fight, no matter how famous the opponent was.

There's no way Lewis would have gotten paid $40 million to fight a rematch with Vitali.

The max he'd get would be 20 million I'd say, and that's a stretch too.

 

I think the Klitschko's fan club took up donations from members to put the purse together. They made up what they were short selling Vitali buttons, autographed sweaty towels, and a silcone molded replica of his *****.

I wouldnt say vitali has moved on since just after he announced he was coming back he challenged Lewis to do the same so they could get it on again.

 

One thing that bothers me though..
