If the cut is caused by a punch then it's not really a good excuse at all. It's like saying I would have won if my opponent hadn't won more rounds than me.

You gotta blame the tread mill on that one...The Treadmill didnt get the proper amount of power to properly work...There for Eddie could only run laps around the ring...Even the sidewalks seems to **** up when Eddie wanted to do roadwork...so he had to just go into the fight with Povetkin with his natural ability and hoping that his stamina would hold.:good

That was not an excuse. Just a hilarious quote from Mike.

One of the best excuses ever for a loss was Foreman saying he was about to knock Ali out but got distracted when he saw his friend in the audience betray him by rooting for Ali and then the moment passed.

Another one for a poor performance (I thought he lost, but officially won) was Camacho talking about the fight with Rosario. He said he was scared all night long because his mother had given him a mean look in the dressing room and it affected his ring performance.

Before they changed the design of boxing gloves, you used to get this excuse a lot:

    "I was thumbed!"

"Doctor used too much vaseline" is probably the craziest excuse.
