But I thought Joe Joyce had an all time chin?

He wasn't really hurt when he was dropped. He was simply squared up and ate a shot so big it literally knocked all 20st of him off his feet, but he got up like he had slipped and went right back at trying to take Chisora out. Last night showed he still takes a good shot, but he should avoid the really big punchers like Wilder, Joshua and of course Zhang, he's simply too easy to hit and while his chin is good it's not THAT good.

Strange thing is Usyk called Chisora the hardest British puncher he faced. Maybe perception can vary a lot.
Also Chisora punched are telegraphed which made them much easier to absorb than Zhang's. But it doesn't mean that you don't feel them

 

He did have a great chin, but chins can be cracked and his most likely is after those Zhang fights.

Joyce still got great, great chin. KD was more like flash KD than really heart him. He attack very hard and was catch but never heart here.

And Joe is not "nobody". He destroy dude who is number 4 today. He also destroy Dubois. He was on top because few very good wins.

His fight yesterday was much closer than people and judges see this. If not KD he probably should got draw or even win. If fight was 12 rounds not 10 he 90% will KO Dereck who fight for his life 3 last rounds.

Joe got his atributes and got his limits. He probably never should choose Zhang for opponent. They got bad view on what happend in Hrgovic vs Zhang fight.

He is like Adam Kownacki. Yes he start lose but this not cancel what he done previous. And he done pretty much.

Usyk was badly heart in Joshua 2 fight after right hand. He was running thru whole ring and in break he spend whole pause with close eyes praying for strenght.
Chisora never heart him really. And You trurly think Chisora punch harder?
Because he punch him with full force on block when fights start?

Other example. Artur Szpilka said that Mike Mollo punching power is better than Wilder. U really belive that?
No. Just agresive boxers who threw full force punches can be hard and painfull but we all know how ends catch shots like this from Wilder.

We as fan seeing this without adrenaline and others thing. We see effects.

Nah, Joyce's chin is still freak of nature type ****. Dubois is a huge puncher and even when he landed clean with massive haymakers Joyce barely blinked. Chisora was winging big shots at him all night and even this shot to bits version of Joyce ate his best shots pretty easily. Parker can whack, Takam can whack, and Ustinov can whack yet none of them made a dent in Joyce. Zhang really does just punch that hard.

 

That hook from Zhang Joyce got up from would hospitalize most.

 

He had for sure. But you cannot take 100 clean punches every single fight and be ok.

Only seen the highlights, but he ate plenty of punches from what I saw and never looked truly hurt. His defence is just too bad

 

He still has an ATG chin, no fighter ever took this many massive shots and remained standing.
Zhang is a 10/10 power puncher and it still took some absolutely collosal punches to get Joe out of there

 

Where was Usyk ever badly hurt in the Joshua fights? He wasn't in any trouble at any point, even in rd9 of the 2nd fight where Joshua was constantly throwing and gassing himself out, he barely landed.

 

He was in deep trouble in second fight. Its not normal situation where You with close eyes dont listen to corner but just pray.

For sure he was in deeper trouble than in any moment of Dereck Chisora fight.

 

He was squared up when he was hit. He was knocked off balance. He's still got a GREAT chin.

 

If the fight was 12 rounds Joyce would of won, if my aunty had bollocks she would be my uncle.
