I realize the fact that Kessler was a good champion, and was completely dismantled by Ward. I do also enjoy the fact that Kessler ran through the norm like a knife through hot butter, the same norm who had Bute down for an eleven count. Ward beat the better fighters, is far smarter in the ring and has more athletic ability. Realistically, Bute shouldn't be anything other than another EASY W for him. Ward is a very good boxer, he'd have the most problems with Arthur Abraham, whom I would pick to upset him.
Does Ward school him because Bute's Romanian? Or it it mainly because he's Romanian that you dislike him? You never said...
His head is fast!! No decision - Bute stopped on cuts from "(seemingly) accidental" headbutts inside round 4 :!:
Even if such a fight is very much desired by the boxing world in general, I think that it wouldn't stand to its hype anyways. Both guys are very cerebral and technical in the ring and they would notice it quite fast early on in the bout. I don't think either would convincingly impose himself on the other but rather get a close decision after a considered boring fight with lower than average output. I presently take Ward to beat Bute, landing just enough convincing blows in a few rounds to make the difference. I have a feeling though, most fans would be left disappointed by the fight !!
Bute is a one handed fighter, he will get embarrassed by a fighter of Ward's caliber, Ward's too fast, strong, defensively skilled and too smart for Bute, Ward via easy UD.
Actually I watched his entire fight last night, if you consider his pathetic paw jab a threat to Andre Ward you're delusional.
Then please watch the entire career...you'll change your mind quickly, unless your primary motive is to discredit him of course.
