This should be a great fight and a real test for Bute. This fight will answer alot of questions about Bute and an Andrade upset is not out of the question (infact it's highly probably).
Andrade has the style and qualities to make life very hard for Bute. This will be Bute's biggest test so far and he will have to be at his very best to win. Still, Bute should be considered the favourite, I think. Also, for the sake of the SMW division, let's hope Bute does win - this would make the prospect of a Kessler v. Bute encounter much more appealing. Sure, some of the Danes want Andrade to win to make Kessler's win look better; some of the Aussies want Bute to lose to make Mundine look better :? ...but real impartial fans will want Bute to win because he would be proving himself a real force in doing so. We already know Andrade's limitations. It would be good for boxing if Bute's limitations weren't exposed by someone like Andrade. Go, Bute!:happy
I think with Andrade being such a tv friendly fighter, promoted by Golden Boy, and challlenging for a title, there's a good chance this ends up on Boxing After Dark.
Let's be real, Andrade is not Champion material, at least not yet. True this guy have a great heart, he can also take a good punch and he hits pretty hard. But that's it, I mean, he will be outbox from beginning to end by Lucian and will end up on his knees with his ribs burning in great pain. Sorry for the Danes who wishes to compare with Kessler's performance, same for you guys down under. Bute will not miss the chance to see his star beginning to shine in the U.S. sky for the next years to come by letting any aspects down in his preparation ( as usual ). My view is Bute by large UD or late stoppage if Librado can't take anymore hard shots. After, we will start talking about the likes of Kessler, Taylor, Pavlik, Miranda, Pascal ( not yet ready IMO ) Froch, Mundine... anybody to make a good show and a lot of $$$$$. You guys want proofs that Bute his the real thing, just watch.... Go Bute !
Great fight. Its a good fight because both guys have a good chance of winning. I think Andrade is underrated by some, sure he is limited, but his style is not easy to overcome, and for what its worth I think he as improved a fair bit since Kessler, although he still takes too many punches. Bute will shed any doubts I have if he performs well. By the way, Andrade is the boxer I want to see succeed more than anyone, seems like a really genuine guy.
Andrade is certainly genuine as a person, but as a boxer he leaves a lot to be desired. This is Bute's fight to lose. If Bute isn't ready for 12 tough rounds he deserves to lose.
Bute by shutout. Andrade maybe wins a round. Instead of realizing that they're overrating Kessler and Andrade, people will start saying that Bute is the next savior.
Someone like...a tough-as-nails B+ competitor? Bute could bounce back from this easy, and still work his way back to a Kessler fight. No problem.
I think this will be one interesting fight.. I'd like to see what Bute will bring against Andrade.. I'd like to see that fight take place in late July if possible or August..
