Bute-Andrade in Montreal?

    Golden Boy Promotions has asked Interbox to help them organize the fight in Montreal, November 28th. They say it's the date given by HBO. They were supposed to hold the bout before the end of September (3 months after the purse bid). End of November is 2 months later.

    Bute has to fight before the end of November.

    Sure hope so.

    This fights too big to be stuck on a Vegas undercard with a half empy house.

    They could do a nice home-town Gatti tribute there while they're at it.

    But won<t the IBF have a word to say about the fact that the fight will be held two months after the delay given?

    I'll say it's the best place for the fight . . . where Andrade is well supported by the fans.

    The problem is that the Montreal Canadiens will play a big hockey game on the 28th of november at the olympic stadium in Montreal...not good for a boxing night in Montreal !!

    no doubt that won't work. montreal is the most hockey crazy city in the world and the Montreal Canadians atre the most beloved hockey team in the world. they're absolute fanatics for the Candians in Montreal, the fight would greatly suffer.

    unfortunately true...though toronto is even more stupid in love with hockey even though they haven't won a stanley cup since the great ****ing depression

    Is it possible that the date given by GBP(Nov. 28th), two months after the deadline, could be explain by the fact that Andrade is not completely healed from his elbow injury?:huh
