After the ref finished the count he needed to say ''box'' in order for the timekeeper to end it.The round was over long before, since Bute was down.

My suggestion was that the time keeper didn't know the rules, you, and others, now point to that as a fact all the time.
I for one doesn't believe the time keeper has anything to do with this. I believe that you can't stop a referees count, no matter what round. And the referee started the count therefore the fight is not over till he finishes.
But please keep using my suggestion as a fact.:D

Look I watched the fight. Bute got knocked down and was out on his feet. I went to go take a ****, came back 4 mins later and the ref was at 6. I then went to go make a turkey sandwich, sat down to eat and the ref was at 9

If a fighter leaves the corner the COUNT IS STOPPED and the ref tells him to got to the corner and then continuing the count

This is not the controversey. Bute went down with 5 seconds or less left in the fight. All he has to do is stand up and look capable of fighting on. The bell can't save him so he has to make himself look healthy enough to continue. The controversey is the ref screaming at Andrade to get back into the neutral corner while Bute has more time to recuperate and make himself look clear headed. The bell rang and Bute still wobbled to the corner after the ref signaled fight over and pointed bute to his corner. The delay of telling Andrade to get back into the neutral corner and the slow count gave Bute more time to recover, and that is the controversey.
