If they really like each other and wnat to exchange nothing but pleasantries thats fine, but boxing is an emotional, competitive, hurt business. Some guys dont want to be nice. At the end of the day, the goal in boxing is to inflict physical damage to ur opponent.

With that said Mayweather and Steroid Shane are pretty much always humble and respectful in victory. Bernard generally is too but not all the time.

You're right but in the case of these 2 guys, they are genuinely nice men and they happen to get along very well.

Guys that are at least somewhat respectful and humble, will always feel that way anyways when they are done fighting another guy....maybe not necessarily prior to, but after certainly !

The best example of true respect and friendship formed from meeting in the ring, is Arturo Gatti & Mickey Ward.

 

Wow...I almost cried when Andrade started crying. Really emotional. He'll be a champ one day, and I can't wait to see it.

Bute was truly awesome. Bute only used legal punches which proves you can win a fight that way.

Bute is unbeaten champion, no matter you hate him or not, with the last two matches finished in 4th against two hard punchers (no offense).

You choised the wrong one ! Oh, and of course Mosley is the right gentleman especially after his intention to provoque scandal after the last match of Mayweather.
