As I feared, fake champion, Lucy Bute has bottled out of a Carl Froch unifi fight, prefering to go over old ground and face a man he's beaten before in Andrade. To add to Lucy's embarrassment at his lack of balls, it appears the Andrade fight will be on the UNDERCARD of Mayweather's comeback.A ****ing UNDERCARD fight:patsch

I strongly suspect that when Pascal easily beat tough guy Diannou, Bute suddenly had second thoughts on facing Froch. Any credibility he had previously has disppeared down the shitter:tired

Apparently the IBF revoked their special dispensation for the unification with Froch and ordered purse bids for Bute-Andrade II. If that's the case, which the facts seem to point to, then if anyone should be blamed then it's the IBF. I am pissed the fight isn't happening, though.

so he took on the opponent in a rematch that soooo many people claimed was robbed of a tko victory? He rematched the only fighter to have him in serious trouble in an effort of proving his superiority to the fans? yeah what a *****...

I wouldn't go this far. Him and Andrade have legitimately unfinished business.

A lot of people want to see this rematch. As far as I'm concerned, it's necessary.

froch is pissed that being big mouthed, unlikeable and outboxed by taylor for every second of that fight until the end (which was admittedly a GREAT comeback) isn't getting him the big fights he wants.

I don't see the problem here. Sure I would like to see Froch and Bute go at it, but Bute-Andrade is a good one too.

:goodAgreed. Like I said as well though- the fight was mandated by the IBF. No-one was bitching out, it had to happen if Bute wanted to keep the strap.

Andrade would knock Froch the **** out anyways. Bute always up for taking the more dangerous challenges, even if there's less hype involved.

Bute had the chance to legitimately(?) claim to be the world number one at SuperMiddle and get well paid for it into the bargain. That he's prefered to take an easier fight, for almost certainly less money,on an undercard, shows that he lacks the bottle. Just because Bute v Andrade is an intriguing fight doesn't alter that fact

So in your opinion he's a fake champion because he should have lost to Andrade, but got a gift from the ref? Wow, how fake of him to give Andrade another shot! Must be that British fog.

Froch wouldn't be able to keep Andrade off. I think he'd get worn down, despite what DavidUK thinks.
