I wouldn't single them out when you have Emperor Sulaiman running the WBC and the insane regular champion, super champion issue at the WBA...among other things with the other orgs.

And they are all three about the same skill level.

You're right. Stieglitz without his belt is not far from Brinkley in terms of skills. Not better enough to make a difference. Like I said before, good thing to get rid of the mandatory at the same time he fights in Romania (if the fight finish to be signed, it's not a done deal).

    Super6: We don't want to
IBF: FUuuuK U. Put Bute in MF-ckers
    Super6: Or what ?!?!

I thought Bika-Brinkley was going to be for the shot at Bute and it was Brinkley who pulled out of the fight. Not sure what happened with that whole situation, but Bika would have been a much better choice. Bute should blow Brinkley out in all honesty. Bute has been on a roll knocking out better fighters than Brinkley. The super six has a lot of the top guys locked up and Pavlik lost which put that fight on the back burner. So that doesn't leave a lot of options for Bute since he recently beat two of the better options left in Andrade and Mirnada. Its a mandatory and Bute gets a hometown defense in but Brinkley has almost no chance.

If he will fight Brinkley ...Bika will probably be his mandatory and vice versa

He should fight Brinkley get his mandatory out of the way. Offer Brinkley decent money to go to Romania then come back and fight a named opponent on HBO in December. Maybe a Pavlik, Dawson, Stielgritz unification.

I think Dirrell Dirrell and Ward will fight in October. Not so sure Ward will win. If Dirrell can make it (and since Ward's power is below Froch and Abraham's), he will stay in the super six. Froch could leave then. His next fight is scheduled for the month of September.

Green still has 2 fights to make: against Ward, in June, and against Kessler, early next fall. Well, if things doesn't get postponed again.

Basically, if Bute can get rid of his mandatory in Romania, he has to find one big fight for this fall and could take the super six losers afterwards.

Its so depressing......Bute have to wait and can only feast on losers for the years to come, such a bad timing for his career....:-(

Well, it depends on how you look at it. If Bute faces a good name in November, then Froch or Dirrell, then Kessler, then Ward.

If he stays unbeaten, he moves up and faces Pascal and Dawson at 175. Even if that takes 3 years to do that, that would be an excellent career.

HBO and Interbox don't look at Bute only in a short term perspective.

You may be right, but imagine if he have a bad night or a fight ending cut against a guy like Brinkley..........this would ruin any chances for Bute to really be on top. At least when you lose vs top dogs like those in the super 6, you career is not over. The only good thing I see bout Bute facing Brinkley, will we see another TOTAL destrction form Bute once again, but Bute destroying this kind of guy is getting a little bit old.
