Could Bute make a catch weight fight with Paul Williams?

    Maybe at 166. ;)

Williams will fight at 147 before fighting Bute at 168. And he doesn't make 147 anymore.

    Let's get realistic?

    How about we get real!

This fight is pointless. It's not even a fight that will make Bute look good in the USA, because HBO aren't interested in showing it.

Bute doesn't need to fight the best that are unavailable.

He needs to fight the best that are available. And that does not include Brinkley, not by a long shot.

There is no point in fighting Sartison if he can't unify his WBA paper belt.

Well Sartison is halfway decent and is a better option than Jesse Brinkley. It's not like Bute's got a ton of options right now.

But if Brinkley his mandatory good or bad Bute will have to face him anyway! so Lucian his better to get rid of this as soon as possiple!

These sanctioning bodies change the rankings all the time to please promotors. I'm sure Interbox could persuade the IBF to find Bute another mandatory.

Brinkley or Bika ? Bute already beat Bika and Brinkley bring something a little differents even if it's not much!

Brinkley is not even remotely interesting. I would prefer Bika 2 over Brinkley. What I'd really like was Stieglitz growing a pair and taking the fight with Bute.

Sartison is a better option than Brinkley as well.

Bika still a dirty bas.... and fighting him always dangerous for cut!

Bika will come out of a period of inactivity directly in a title match ... when was the last time he fought ? He probably is not anymore that boxer that took Bute(116-111 , X2 118-109) and Calzaghe(116-111, X2 117-110) the distance.
