You have been consistent. You said you thought povetkin was dirty after his win over perez. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
:good I just found a quote of mine the other day on the RBR literally the moment after Povetkin KO'd Takam I said Povetkin was doping.
I thought he looked suspicious in the perez fight best shape of his life at 35 ko power out of nowhere it seemed suspect Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
I forgot Peterson admitted to taking testosterone before the Khan fight. Considering that and the circumstantial evidence, when VADA caught him the DC commission could've stood up and changed the result. That they didn't and moreso that Peterson passed the post-fight test makes them look pretty suspect. But following their rules it's hard to insist the result has to be changed. If Memo can't be banned from "boxing", the NSAC should ban him. If they had the ***** to do that they'd show a lot of integrity and lead by example and start a precedent. Jones won the fight, tested positive, and the fight's a NC on his record. But yeah, it's effectively a win because the loss stuck on Lebedev's record. I guess there you go with different commissions having different rules. The wba let Jones keep his title, like Peterson. Which is why I'm skeptical that the title orgs can lead any drug policy changes.
I was suspicious right after the Charr fight, but I've never rated Charr highly and he was going downhill big time against Vitali so that was believable, but when the Takam KO happened that made me pretty suspicious and then the Perez KO1 totally solidified it for me.
Ironically enough, the Perez KO wouldn't have been due to what he got popped for. Happened too early. The reason that fight probably set off alarms is that he stacked it with things that don't show up on tests, which transformed his physique to look more like what we associate a "juicer" to look like. The Takam one would've been a prime example, since Povetkin's conditioning and work rate was always one of his calling cards.
Yeah I agree, the only reason that happened was due to Takam gassing because he wasn't on anything and the meldonium gave Povetkin the stamina to go all night. But whose to say he wasn't on some heavier duty stuff for Perez than just meldonium.:think
