Okey the earnings against Mendy are pretty damn shocking, I don't think i believe it. But the rumor is that he earned 2.850.000 $.
Maybe is because the Romanian Minister of Tourism financed the fight, and that the audience was an estimated of 4,5 million viewers, don't really know but still doesn't look like the right amount for me.

Non founded theory, but could it be that Bute salary was not that high, but the money from the Romanian governement was sponsorship money. That may explain the difference between Bute and Mendy...???

I believe it because Interbox has said the same to Kessler a couple of times before the S6 started.

Good and bad decisions happen in all countries. Therefore fighters should more or less take turns going away and home - at least the top guys. Not one guy just staying home - like Ottke.

    I have heard that too.

I know that Interbox said they werent ready for Kessler - so I wouldnt be surprised if they said the same to Froch, but I have not heard this.

Yes but it's really harder to have a fair decision in some countries!

He chose to give Andrade a rematch. If he would have not done so you and other people would have said that Bute was afraid or something. And like a week after that Froch was in the S6 and between you and me a tournament like the S6 is not making itself and signed in a couple of weeks. It probably was months the project was in the making. And so I'm not saying Froch's team wasnt honest in their talk with Bute, but we can ask the question, if Bute would have want Froch, would have Froch said no to the S6?

    I dont think so.

And when the IBF in 2007 ask for a fight between Froch and Bute for a shot at the Berrio's title, Froch said no and Bute fought Bika.
