They were in talk for a fight with Froch but Froch got invited in the S6. No ducking from both side here. I'm pretty sure the unification bout would have been made if it wasn't of the tourney.

I think that Bute is so bad, ducker, only fights bums, that you should really spend your days talking about a worthy fighter instead of him.

Now ***** let me tell you something you don't know.

Bute agreed to fight Froch in Nottingham in 2007 for the IBF eliminator but Froch chose to wait 18 months before getting a title shot, and Bika became Bute's opponent.

 

I never said that.

At the time (around 2007-2008 I think) I thought it fair that Bute wasn't ready. He got into pro boxing late and was doing well taking on harder and harder opponents.

The trouble I have with Bute fans are two things:

1) that a guy who has never fought abroad and has never even met a top opponent - call other fighters cowards, duckers etc.

2) that some of them support that Bute should just continue to be a protected fighter. Look at undefeated Ottke and how his reputation is now...

Utter bull****. Show us where Bute calls other boxers names and, while you're looking for another laughable comeback, point to the fans who are satisfied with Bute not yet fighting the top competition.

Well I'm happy to read this because I think most of Bute's fans dont call other boxers coward or duckers and I remember at least a couple of Bute's fans (me include) said that Bute needs to fight outside.

I know that most of Bute's fight would not have more money outside, but if he wants to be in the HoF (like he said he wants) he will need to fight outside. That being said, in the Bute/Andrade II fight and in the Pascal/Hopkins II fight, both the purse was won by GBP and both times they decide to fight in Québec...

I think I know what interview you refer to. Bute, after winning against Zuniga, gets asked: would you like to fight Kessler? Bute, who has a verbal agreement to face Jermaine Taylor if this one wins against Froch, answers: there are other champions too.

Because he was supposed to face Taylor, not because he was not ready. Again, you are repeating false statements you've read. That one is by Bat, he repeated it many times.

Taylor would have been a good unification. In the mean time, guess what? Kessler was not even available. atsch
