Here you go He wanted Pavlik and Taylor ... U got as source the video i posted with the after match press conference and this is the proof that he wanted Froch to . No big fights ..huh . And after that u steal the the majority of good and decent opponents. He fought Andrade Bika Berrio and offered Stieglitz 2 big pay checks to fight for a unification(the best from what it was left after the tourney was formed at 168 )

The tournament was set up to have 3 Americans and 3 non-Americans. Regardless of the reasons behind Showtime inviting Kessler, Froch, and Abraham, they certainly chose the most deserving fighters. The only one where an argument can possibly be made was for Bute to get an invite over AA, considering he hadn't fought at 168. But I certainly think they made the right call.

WTF does PBF have to do with this? You ****ing troll.

Bute isn't too small he fought several fights at 175 and is a huge SMW.

Pascal is the ring Champ at 175 with everyone busy at 168 in the super 6 there isn't a bigger fight out there for him.:deal

Bute has plenty of options at 168, you know, HIS weight class? He has no reason to rush to 175 if he doesn't feel ready for it. No shame there.

    I agree with this 100%.

The Bute vs Pascal fight is bigger now that it will probably ever be. It could get bigger - true - but it could get smaller as well.

I think it should happen NOW. Bute doesn't have to worry about fighting the winner of the S6 @ 168lbs, he can fight taht winner at 175.

No reason to rush?:patsch The guy has fought at 175 multiple times and it's not like Pascal is a huge 175 pound fighter. Bute is the bigger man here.

Explain what the rush is smart ass. What, a guy isn't allowed to fight in his division where he hold a title now? He MUST move up at the first opportunity? Give me a ****in break. :patsch

Pavlik isn't moving up ao there's no one at 168 for Bute to fight that's worth a damn all are B- class at best. He should fight Pascal and hope that some of the guys who don't advance in the super 6 drop out then he could fight one of them until the winner is crowned then secure a fight with him. This is Bute's best plan of action anyone other than Pascal now is a complete waste of time.

There's no one at 168 who's worth fighting over Pascal that's why. Name me some one there at 168 who's worth a damn there, that's not in the super 6? Pascal is a small guy and it would be a great oppurtunity for Bute's legacy to move up take his ring championship in a big fight. Then he could move down take on one of the guys who doesn't advance then fight the winner. This makes plenty of sense and I for one don't see why so many are against it.:-(

Not necessarily true. 90-95% probability that Kelly moves up. He was willing to entertain a Chavez junior fight because it would be a 7 figure pay day, and even a weight drained and dehydrated KP beats junior.

Really. I guess so. Last week when I said Dawson was overrated and would lose and had Donaire in my P4P list i was an idiot. Then Dawson lost on Saturday and Tuesday ring mag come out with P4P rankings and Donaire is #4. So go **** off. You don't know jack brother.

I think Kelly should take JCC jr good fight for him but that will means Kelly won't move up until next year some time, which means Bute will need a fight by then and should move up to face Pascal in the meanwhile.

The winner of s6 will have might have 2 belts. If Bute loses his IBF belt he loses the right to claim he can be the best at 168. Then the winner of s6 can go for the IBF and the WBO belts ducking him and Bute would be told to came down at 168. Once he goes to 175 he won't be able to make 168 healthy. They will say Bute is scared of "the man at 168". He has more options if he stays at 168 were he can fight the ones that drops from the s6 and then the winner and then move to 175 to face the best men there to. If he goes to 175 beat Pascal he will be left with Dawson and he can only hope that top 168 fighters will go after him at 175. Cloud is ****
