bute got up under his own power before the 10 count. ssure he got beat up and was on "***** street" in the 12th but what you people are forgetting is he dominated the fight until the 12th, and he beat the count.

 

sure he was up, and andrade wouldnt have had a chance to finish him before the bell,,,,but still,at the count of 8 the fight should of hinged on one thing,,the referee commanding bute to walk forward (with his hands up) as a marker of whether or not he was fit to continue..As the judge was at this point ****ing ridiculously shouting at andrade for being a foot away from neutral corner we'll never know..personally I do think the referee ****ed up majorly here

 

I'm in no way a Big Fan of Bute or Andrade but the fact is that Bute was put down with 4 seconds remaining in the round and up at 8 real second(if you count yourself from the time he went down and not by stupid marlon wright's count) which means that by the time he was up the fight was over. All he had to do was get to his feet as per IBF rules which he did.

That out of the way....It was an atrocious reffing job by Wright, just brutal. He let Bute get away with excessive holding, was warning Andrade for next to nothing, breaking the fighters anytime it was to Butes advantage and not only the Bute favorism but Wright also missed some blatant headbuts and elbows from Andrade. This Marlon Wright fool is an amateur and should never ref a title fight again.

Since the last round was over (2:56 + 8 = 3:04), Bute just need to get up in time, he doesnt have to walk forward or anything.

wasting your time. people only care about rules on this site when it suits them. you can explain over and over again why Bute won just by being up before 10 and it won't matter to one of these thick headed *******s.

 

Bute won the fight because he got up - crooked referee or not. But i'd definitely say the fight warrants a rematch!

Rematch, but he need to beat Larsen before.

 

Bute is fighting Larsen next(altough nothing is signed yet),they are looking at a late february-early march date.Be sure Andrade will get a fight under his belt too.

 

Andrade vs Berrio..., could be very very entertaining, logic say Andrade KO8-10, but Berrio hit HARD if he hit Andrade flush couple of time in the same round we could be surprise.

 

How about Miranda vs Berrio?:yep
