I was talking Demetrius "boo boo" Andrade, not Librado.

The name of the belt doesn't determin the quality of the fighter.

"A few months later I got a phone call from the producer of a Spanish-language sports show, who swore that he witnessed Golovkin "embarrass" Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Wild Card gym during an open workout held for the Latino media afew weeks before the unbeaten middleweight pulled out of scheduled Dec. 4 card."

"Is Golovkin ready for the world's best middleweights, such as champions Sergio Martinez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who will meet Sept. 15 in Las Vegas, or Germany's Felix Sturm, who puts his titles on the line Saturday night as well, against Daniel Geale?"Absolutely," Sanchez said. "We've sparred with Chavez, and we've sparred with Canelo (Alvarez). There's video where (Golovkin) sparred with Chavez at (Freddie Roach's) Wild Card Gym and toyed with him at 60-70%. The problem is going to be for (those fighters) to accept."

    It's only sparring, right? :bbb

Dirrell has actually already beat him in the amateurs. But GGG defeated him in the Olympics

Well, I hope this fight happens so Dirrel won't be lying next time he says he's got brain damage.

Golovkin KO the minute Dirrel steps up to fight.:deal

At this point it would be size that would worry me about him going in with Chavez.
    Interesting post though.Food for thought.
I would add that Jnr seems like a right lazy trainer though and I'd have no problem with someone putting forward a decent argument for 3G beating him.

Why was i not surprised to see dirrels antics on display against golovkin in the olympics.I swear i thought i was watching abraham vs dirrel, especially when dirrel was in the corner between rounds.I was waiting for him to say "i cant breath yall". Not a fan of dirrel never will be

I was not all together serious with my post, it could be something or not. The thing for me though is that Chavez hasn't really convinced me (anyone?) that he's a class above the pack. We'll see soon enough though.

Ha the Bute-GGG comparison isn't even close cuz there's no comparison to be made! Bute would fight almost, exclusively in Canada or Romania. GGG is willing to fight anyone, anywhere, at anytime, and any weight 154-168! He'd be drained making 154 and at a height disadvantage at 168 yet he'll fight anyone. Plus he's a devastating bodypuncher that's essential against bigger fighters, has a high ring IQ, and one of the most pulverizing jabs in awhile. Just because he isn't slick or a speedster doesn't mean he can't be great and am wins can give a fighter a mental edge because alot of times tho fighters have physically changed their styles haven't. Mosley beat Oscar in the ams as Forrest beat Mosley look at the results in the pros of course it matters.

:hi: Hello, stop comparing the amateur with the professional level! Dirrell and Bute especially are much better pros than Golovkin.

    Someone explain to me

WHAT Gennady did that is more impressive then what Bute have done prior to the Froch debacle? I'm serious.

Bute have had 9 straight title defenses, dominated much much harder competition theN GGG and looked every bit as impressive. The way Bute killed some of those guys he was fighting make GGG'S one super performance look rather tame.

Anyone still got the gif of Bute beating up that guy in the corner? With power shot after power shot to the face?

Bute was more proven, bigger, looked better, and fought much tougher people. He was also a legit champion. Yet here is a bunch of Gennatards coming in here saying that Gennady will not fail like Bute.

What make you guys come to this conclusion? Because Bute sure as hell looked like he was the best or at the very least 2nd best SMW in the world.
Before he got analized by Froch.

I will not be one bit surprised if Sergio Dominated Jr, then a few months later Jr do a Froch ON GGG.

Bute against Berrio you mean from whom he won the IBF belt. And Berrio right before that KOed Stieglitz in round 3 in Germany.

    :deal:thumbsup Thank you.

See Bute looked MUCH more impressive and had many more impressive bigger fights than Gennady, and he lost to Froch bad. That lost could just be a bad night for Bute, but for Gennady fans to say that 'there is no way what happened to Bute will happen to GGG is beyond stupid.

Bute was more proven and still got shelled, GGG had like 1 good win.

Even with the LOSS to Froch Bute is still better then Gennady. Bottom Line.
