Yup, I think Showtime have better options for Bute than having to commit to a rematch that MAY have little attraction after the first fight.

but what do I know? I'm no TV Exec!

i like the idea of 2 legs but what happens if??

Froch dominates him in Canada, makes the fight in Nottingham pointless and it won't sell. If Bute dominates its the same.

The Dawson rematch won't happen any time soon. The first one didn't sell, the second one really wouldn't.

I agree Froch may need a short break, I dont think he needs to do anything else to earn another shot, do you think he should move back down to Euro first! or fight a top 10 World contender. (Pointless)

The remainder of Froch's fights should be amongst the elite in that division.

    Dissagree.

I think the sooner Froch gets back in there the better after the kind of fight he had against Ward.

That kind of defeat can be a bit of a confidence sapper and the longer you leave it the worse it can get.

Froch has fought Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Johnson, Ward and is now fighting a guy who's barely fought any one. How is Froch undeserving? He's more than entitled to this fight.

I like Froch, he has balls, but Bute has way too many skills for Froch, he has speed, power, defense, stamina, etc., Bute is the best 168 lb. fighter in the world today, which is the reason Ward refused to allow Bute to fight in his tournament. Ward never had to travel like the others. Ward does not want to fight Bute and that fight will probably never happen. Ward is hoping that Bute will somehow lose a fight, putting Bute off as long as possible. Ward gets everything his way...........always..............Bute will stop Ward if that fight were to happen, too much power, speed, stamina, defense, etc. Bute will probably stop Froch, which I hate to see...............I respect Froch, he as so much courage.

Why was Bute not allowed to fight in the tournament?

Why did Ward never have to travel? Ward's venue, mostly his referee and judges, as well as his commentators.........................Can you imagine if Froch had such an advantage?
