BUTE-Froch: MAY 12th in England: Official !!

It was widely expected (and accepted) that Froch was entitled to a less taxing fight at home before going in with Bute Ramon.He's had a tough few years on the road and no one would have begrudged him that.
I'm glad he's went off at the deep end though.

 

He'd have made $200k tops against a journeyman, though. Bute needs Froch NOW, not in autumn. In autumn, Froch could have been irrelevant to Bute - Kessler or Ward might have decided to step up to the plate - and they're both better than Froch. Froch's not stupid. But he's no hero either.

I'm well aware he's not the greatest boxer out there but he has admirable qualities and thus far,he has a far better pedigree than Bute,at least to neutrals.
Well aware Bute is trying to change that,but I feel you have a simmering hatred for Froch that occasionally rises to the surface.

 

I disagree with this. There seems to be a lot of people underestimating the amount Froch can make in the UK. $200k is around £125k.

he might but i dont strongly believe that, after the win he will be so happy that he will act like his usuale way...that is like a kid who got what he wanted. im willing to bet that if he is interviewed after he will give props to froch and maybe...hopefully will call out ward live on tv.

You'll see him beg for the fight if Froch wins or pushes Bute hard.A convincing Bute victory might kill the fight at least in the near future.
