No-one claimed AA to be the BETTER boxer. However his power was something that many people fell into a trap with. He had a string of highlight reel knockouts, whilst Froch's "iron chin" had been tapped by Taylor, people felt that if AA caught him with a bomb then it could be goodnight.

Infact if i remember rightly from that fight, Froch took a HUGE clean punch from AA in the final round and was holding on a fair bit. (The rest of the time Froch took AA to school)

The difference between Bute and AA is vast, Bute has good handspeed, solid variation in his work, a lovely uppercut which has stopped many fighters in their tracks and his body shots are hurtful. AA, just had the game plan "walk through punches, throw bombs".

I've cautiously betted on this one being a draw, because I can see the judges scoring some rounds to Froch due to the crowd excitement and the fact he will be MORE reckless in Nottingham.

I feel the first couple of rounds, Bute will start fast and establish the jab, whilst Froch will fight his way into the contest and attempt to slow Bute down with body shots, from there on in. I just have no idea how it will play out.

A bigger version of arthur abraham? Are you kidding me.

I can tell you've hardly seen any of Bute's fights.

bute to be overawed initially by the crowd, first time fighting away an all that goes with it.froch to win first couple of rounds, bute to have some sucess middle rounds, then all out war froch to be stopped late, unfortunaelty.
hope im worng as Carl is our best most exciting fighter in the modern era, imo.lookin at who hes fought etc, fighting away, the wars hes been in.
true fighting man.hoep he does it, head disagrees with heart.

Like i said, maybe 3 or 4, cant remember which ones, but i with go with what i said,he is being vastly overated on here, just like abraham was, and he was, no doubt about it.
Maybe im being bias like i was in the abraham fight, but i see the same thing in bute- ie nothing special
And i said earlier, its a tough one to call cos froch aint no ****ing outstanding fluid big banging boxer, but he is easily as good or better than bute.
Not long now, this time tomoz i will either has the **** taken outa me or i will the one taking the **** ;)

This is quite a tough fight to call. I think it will go the distance, Froch will have about at least 2 points home advantage. My bet is on the draw and covered it with bute decision, it will not surprise me if Froch wins by split decision. I think it goes something like this Judges: Uk 115-113 Froch, Canada 113-115 Bute, USA 114-114.

    # Also did a small bet of £5 on froch majority decision and £10 on split decision to cover.

Bute's ko percentage show us how that left hand expertise in liver extraction procedure .

Look in Andrade 2 when Bute was more offensive not to reach last tounds an Ko Andrade in 4 round .

I'm shure Bute wil try to KO Froch starting with 4 round to avoid last round accidents .

This is the first fight I've not been able to make my mind up on. I'm leaning towards Bute, but I think Froch at home will be real hard to beat. If I am being honest with myself Bute should win, reasonably comfortably. But I just can't convince myself it will happen, also I really want Carl to win.

Put my first ever bet on a boxing match today too, Froch on points at 5/2.

tbh honest i haven't a clue but i'm gonna go with my heart and say Froch pts decision on home turf.

People who are saying Froch's power is overrated are wrong. Yep he doesn't have one punch power but hard men like Kessler,Johnson and Abraham all felt his sting and knew they'd been in a real fight. None of them would relish a rematch with him.

    War The Cobra!!!

My head says that Bute will win on points but I like Froch to drag him into the deep end, really make him work for the decision and hopefully he can either just knick it or maybe even stop Bute late in the fight.
