Bika said Bute would beat Ward, it is Ward doesn't want to fight Bute.

The count that Bute got was not 13 but more 20 seconds by a really ref.

Ward is the clear number one Super Middleweight. Deal with it.

    Ward is more skilled......
Bute is really really good, but I see a more skilled guy in Ward and his performances against Kessler and Froch showed to me that he is a bit better than Bute....

Would be a great fight though......

well, we can make all kind of assumptions about how Bute will do against top elite fighters based on their pre-common opponents but only the date of "veinte seis del mayo":D will answer to this question !

Anyway I'm so excited about this fight and I'm looking extremely forward to see it !:yep:deal

The probably best SMW who took part in that tournament eventually won it. The set of SMWs attending S6 doesn't include Bute.

You don't realize the difference between opinion and fact, do you?!
It is a fact that Ward met Kessler and Froch and Bute, although on a collision course with the latter this May 26th, has not met them (yet).
It is a fact that Ward has proven he's a very good fighter by beating them both, while Bute has yet to make his own statement against Froch.
Does that prove as a fact that Ward is a better fighter than Bute? No, it doesn't. With the very same line of reasoning, one could argue that before entering S6, Ward couldn't have been a very good fighter since his biggest and only meaningful win as a pro was Miranda UD. The conclusion is of course plain stupid and it is so because yourr proposed line of reasoning is BS. Ward was already a very good fighter before facing his first S6 opponent and gaining recognition of his skills. It is the recognition of the skills who changes by beating a top opponent, not the boxing skills themselves.
Bute is now in a somehow similar situation: he has undoubtedly good skills but he has not yet gained a full recognition of them and one has not enough information to decide where exactly has he to be placed with respect to other top fighters. He might be below, in middle or above: one cannot make a meaningful statement until he faces Froch and Ward, just as one could obviously not compare where was ranking Ward in boxing skills with respect to Kessler and Froch before getting into S6.
This is a simple statement of doubt -> there is no clear fact.

Ward has fought Kessler and Froch> Bute's resume

Froch has fought Taylor and Pascal> Bute's resume

Kessler has fought Froch, Beyer, Andrade (When he was in his prime and unbeaten) and Mundine> Bute's resume.

Bute is in his prime and has time to make up for it, but Kessler, Froch and Ward has done more than Bute at this point... It can't be denied.

So if Pacman was in a tournament which left Mayweathe out of it, you would proclaim Pacquiao the best WW of the world. :rofl

Bute was number 2. Leaving him outisde the tournament can't give his opponents an advantage. Ward has won the super 6 tournament. It happens one of the best (if not the best) was out of it. Any sane person will understand that Ward won't be the real champ until he face him.

Ward is the best in the division because he has beaten #1(Kessler) and #2(Froch).. Yes they were ranked like this when he beat them..
There will always be a #2 in the division.. Floyd and Manny is different because they have both been facing the 1st tier guys..

Ward is rightfully the best (highest) ranked SMW, but that does not grant he's the best fighter of the division in terms of boxing. Is this concept so difficult to understand? The rankings are always a more or less loose indication of fighter's strength compared to other fighters; if you let out a boxer from fighting other top guys you simply cannot make any definite valid statement concerning their relative strengths, you may only issue some low accuracy rankings.

OTOH, Bute was The Ring #2 ranked SMW when the tournament started and him slipping on #3 was an artificial and temporary move due to S6 overpricing. Right now he is still #2 (if counting Ward as #1) and he has yet to face him in order to meaningfully decide who is the best. This is what box & sport are about.

THIS ^ owns everything what Ward fans say !:yep

Anyway that WBC job is disgraceful! Anthony will fight with a can and he will become the WBC champ for no reason. Why this **** ? Is not fair !!!

I deal very well with the fact Ward is ranked number 1. I put him at that exact place myself.

Time for you to deal with the fact he won't be the best until he faces Bute.

It sounds like an excuse for Ward not wanting to face the number 2 of his division. You don't need that excuse, Ward wants to face Bute. I'm not sure of his promoter though.
