... 2 months after having taken a beating by Bute, who had the biggest Winning gloves to protect his left hand. That win for Froch is worth nothing. Bute never gave shitty preparation time to his opponents. They always had enough time to prepare.

BTW, the only fighters not being KO'd by Bute when he had normal gloves were Andrade and Johnson.

 

I agree, even if points can be made on the value of these fighters resume. For example, the version of Kessler Ward beat was not the best. Taylor at SMW is not really a good win. Pascal was green when Froch beat him, Beyer was inferior to many Bute's opponents. Even Lucas beat him (but was stolen in Germany). Andrade was in his physical prime but not his boxing prime. Mundine does not look so good on Kessler's resume.

Anyway, I give you that Bute's resume is for the moment not as good as the others but it's gonna change very soon...

why Andre Ward avoided his WBC mandatory ?
why Andre Ward fought for Kessler's WBA strap in Oakland ?
why Ward wasn't sanctioned for those lead headbutts when he fought with Kessler ?
are 100% sure that Ward will take the Bute fight even Bute will win by T/K.O or by a loopside UD against Froch ?
are you 100% that Andre Dirrell has retired from S6 tourney because he was injuried ?

The man had what 4 fights in 2 yrs all back to back pretty much against much better comp than his mando Andre Dirrell's younger brother!

Had he not pulled out the tourney that would have been another win for SOG !

Well he already beat Froch so I don't see why not but let the fight happen first before we see who Ward fights next ..Bute hasn't beaten Froch yet !

But I don't agree yet Lucian Bute is the best super middleweight in the world. As I said if Bute defeats Carl Froch in Nottingham (!) easier than Andre Ward did in Oakland, the Ring Magazine and Boxrec will be obliged to rank him the number 1 in the division. But then the official fight between Andre Ward and Lucian Bute will prove who is the best! I hope in New York.

And Interbox added a smart clause, because even if Bute will lose in Nottingham I don't see him not winning in Montreal.
Therefore I think Bute and Ward will meet if the American will not refuse. And I doubt Andre will refuse, there will be a lot of pressure on him!
