Bute gets KO'd once and he has a glass chin, Duran gets KO'd by Hearns and he'sIRON

Duran getting knocked out by Hearns did not hurt his legacy at all really. If you get knocked out by a puncher like Hearns or Julian Jackson like Norris did, it isn't going to hurt your legacy that much. It is almost a test on the person's heart to see if they come back and do well and both Duran and Norris did. So in a way he passed the test and in my mind it helped Tommy but didn't really hurt Duran. Froch is not considered one of the hardest punchers ever. Duran had a great chin, which was why when Tommy knocked him out it was so shocking. After Hearns was when Duran stilled proved he had a great chin. A left hook by Barkley almost turned him around and he stayed up and Leonard landed one of the best right hands I ever saw landed on Duran in 1989. Larry Holmes was knocked out by Tyson, but never again. And people regard Larry's chin as strong.

 

Spinks had a hard time knocking out Sutherland and in the first fight they went 10 rounds. Hearns was a hard puncher no matter what. So a few guys like Dewitt and Sutherland stayed in with Hearns. It happens. Tyson went 10 with Ribalta didn't he? Mitch Green?

Froch would have a very hard time with a 154 pound Hearns. It's funny having a Butard who is comparing Duran to Bute tell you know nothing about boxing. Its good for the confidence.
