I'm thinking you didn't read the list you just posted or else you wouldn't think Boxrec's p4p was particularly relevant to anything.

When are you ******s going to stop taking Boxrecs P4P ranks seriously. It's based on some convoluted statistical formula that is not based in reality. Every week someone starts a thread about some travesty in boxrecs rankings. Common sense surely impeles you to think that something is not right in that list?

I would put him anywhere between 17-20. No.10 is too high right now. And Hopkins at no.1 is a joke.

Maybe, but is not mine. Consult their site if you think it`s not true.

OK, I admitt , for example BH as No. 1 is not the truth but that`s their rating, done after complicated mathematic fornmula for inter-ranking.
I diddn`t say it`s mine too. Of course I vote for MP as No. 1 and Bute is within Top 15 whatsoever.

fine, but i can see a lot of people not knowing, to be fair, the light boxing fan will type a name of thier boxer, see boxrec, see that it's a great site, and take it seriously. i am actually vey surprised that they don't seem to have anyone manning the station.

Okay, maybe myself and some others are being too short with you. No offense. It's just that their rankings are not dictated by critical thought, just numbers as far as I know. It's a little bit like saying whoever wins a fight is whoever compubox says lands the most punches. There's no actual meaning. It's an indicator but it doesn't tell a story and often misleads. So it seems like no point to give much credence to it. You can't even criticize it seriously because it was never that meaningful to begin with.
