Bute has NO excusses this time.

Anyone know how much Glen Johnson earn to fight Froch?

 

I realize there has been an awful lot of opinion and speculation about what the hell is going on. Some of that may be far from true. However, there is no escaping the fact that I am so disappointed in both Pavlik and Bute that I don't even know if I'm still a fan of either fighter. I'm definitely off the "band wagon." I'll have to see action and results before I believe a ****ing thing either guy says!

 

Shame on SOB Ward for not allowing Bute to fight in his personal tournament. Everyone has to travel thousands of miles to fight Ward. Ward's personal referee and judges help him out a lot, but he always gets his way 100%. Why wasn't Bute allowed to fight? Bute is the best 168lb. boxer in the world today!!!

 

I'm getting pretty discouraged myself. The waiting is too long. If Bute fights someone inferior to Johnson in November, I'll be very disappointed. Interbox has to make him a name you can't avoid and for that, they have to put the money on the table.

I didn't pay to see Brinkley and Magee (see them free in a sports bar) and didn't even watched the fight against Mendy, not even on a stream. Bute is losing his most loyal fans because he's letting them down.

I still like Bute, the man and the boxer but he has to step up NOW.

Only trolls are saying that Bute has a glass chin or would get blown out by anyone of the best etc.

But even fair and reasonable boxing fans are justified on their criticism of Bute's lack of opposition. Good to hear that even some of Bute's most stubborn fans are now tired of waiting for Bute to step up.

As a fan of Bute I criticize him for not stepping up. If I was a superfan I would criticize him MORE - because then I would want him to SHOW the skills I think he has.

 

Lucy is a far worse hypejob than Lacy was.. and he does have a weak chin. if Lucy got Abrahams spot in the S6 he´d be reired by now. Abraham would knock that fraud out cold. Lucy doesn´t take opportunitys like top level fighters do. his reaction time is horrible hes limited and can only box from the outside and need alot of space to get off his shots and cannot time his punches from any other range. got no rhythm and does not have the footwork to keep it going once he steps in the ring with anyone remotely good. neither does he have proper fighting instinct. If that guy Mendy only wasn´t such a horrible wimp and a featherfisted joke he would have knocked Lucy out as well using his lefthook alone. Lucy Hayes spot as the most overrated hypejob in business and hes going to get embarrassed once he steps up thats why he tries to duck any decent opponent as long as he can. Once Ward and Froch fought and he beat another bum on Nov 5th, Bute will have a million excuses again to duck out of a fight with either the winner, the loser or everyone else you can bank on it..

 

any news on how the Johnson negotiations are going, if at all?

 

The last time Interbox answered me on their facebook page was before Johnson's refusal. They said at that time that the announcement was coming soon but that they didn't know exactly when. No other news for the moment.

We are now at mid-August. Bute's next fight is scheduled for November the 5th.
It's time to sign something. Kessler or Johnson.

 

About ****ing time they send some love our way and sign a BIG name for a change, if they can't, at least feast on Pascal at catchweight while waiting for Froch and Ward.

I'm tired of waiting for a long time but you are as stubborn as a hater than I can be as a fan. I don't buy your "I'm a Bute fan bla bla...". You're a hater. If not, a troll. Don't try to look moderate now, you have never been. Bute has now real good available opponents to face, that's why my patience towards Interbox came to an end.

 

If you think that you are very wrong. Go check my posts 4-5-6 years ago. I was one of the first to claim Bute was one to look out for. Perhaps the first on ESB! PS. If I'm a hater of anything.. the closest would be delusional Bute fans.. but never of Bute himself.

Go look at my post again above... or look at any other post I have posted. I have never said that Bute would lose to this or that, glass jaw etc etc.

Perhaps you are very emotional right now and think that everyone is after you, but I never have.

My only beef with Bute is that he doesn't fight at top level. And that is fact.

If, for example, Bute met Kessler and lost - but in a closish fight (like Froch).. then he would be in the game. Others would want to fight him because now it is proven that he can hang with the top and he will get more name recognition lose or win... will make everything much easier for him. Froch losing to Kessler didn't hurt him one bit. And of course Bute might win.

Either way - the important thing is that he at least tries.

 

Well, the best name hasn't signed to fight Stieglitz yet. Let's try again to make Bute-Kessler!

Johnson is just an ok-for-the-moment fight for Bute. Not because it would be easy but because he is not a top 3 and that's what we want Bute to fight.

 

More an obsession than beef if you ask me. Disappointed fans always become the harder critics of a fighter. I think that's your case. Sometimes, you go too far. I do the same but the other way.
