Hopkins could win. The main problem with Calzaghe was his output, and Bute has far lower output.

kind of a lose/lose for lucian. with hopkins last fight w/ roy still fresh in everyone's mind, a win for lucian won't really mean all that much and god help him if he loses. he should focus on trying to get the dawson/pascal winner.

This would be a pretty big fight. Hopefully it's in Montreal so I can go.

Bute will be the first person to stop Bernard here IMO

true. I would say this would have been a good fight for Bute before he was an HBO fighter. But now that every boxing fan knows who he is, he doesn't really have anything to gain.

However, its still a fight i'd like to see.

I'd love to run into Hopkins man.

I understand why you say that, Bernard has nothing left to prove & his legacy is in tact! However, if he were to beat Bute, it would be a big win Hopkins & would show that still, he's at the top level, even though he'll be approaching his 46th birthday!

I think its a winnable fight for B-Hop!

Very winnable fight for both. I hope the winner of this fight takes on the winner of Dawson/Pascal.

I would put this 65/35 in favour of Bute. Hopkins is a live underdog at this age. But I bet you if he wins everyone will say "WAAAAH Bute was a super-middle WAAAAH".

I think Hopkins will **** up Bute's rhythm by clinching and then he'll try to work Bute on the inside.

highly doubt that Bute KO's B-Hop.
