This could be a great year for 168. Let Bute and Froch fight while Ward's hand heals. If Froch beats Bute, they have a big rematch at the end of the year while Ward takes on Kessler/Dirrell/Magee. If Bute beats Froch, then we get the big fight.

I don't think HBO it's an option. Bute is under contract with Showtime and HBO are their rival, I don't think legally he is allowed.

Neither guy really belongs in their with Ward right now. I guess as stay busy fights go, they are right on par.

HBO & Hershman are laughing, man.

They know Ward-Bute on HBO is inevitable, and they're watching Showtime backpedal to squeeze some $$$ out of Bute first.

It was almost done First fight in Canada and Second in England, But Showtime refused the fight and said they will like Bute to fight an American, not Froch. Then it was almost off Froch speaking of a homecoming against someone like Andrade.

Looking forward to this fight... Froch deserves a fight at home and Bute has to show he can travel. Good fight!

From what i read, Showtime turned it down and gave the 2 sides the option to seek out another broadcaster, and HBO turned it down as well.

Any link to that? I find hart to believe Showtime would make Bute free to fight once on HBO.

    Hopefully...

    Spring

    Kessler-Stieglitz (Copenhagen)
    Bute-Froch (Nottingham - SKY)
    Ward-Ant. Dirrell (Oakland - HBO's BAD)

    Summer

Kessler heals from yet another injury or fights Froch on SKY
    (...)
Bute-Hopkins (Quebec City, PEPS Stadium - SHOWTIME)
    Ward-Magee (LA, Staples Center - HBO's WCB)
...or both fights on one card in NYC or AC.

    Winter

Megafight for Ward; either Kessler or Bute if he beats Hopkins. Clear of WBA, WBC and IBF mandatories.
