So Bute first defence was vs. a 38 year old MW called Joppy in Canada, when Kessler had to travel to Australia vs Mundine and Froch had to go to US to face Taylor.....!!

If Bute wants to fight the best, he just have to step it up, simple as that. Would love to see Bute vs. Froch in England.....!!!!

    Key words "had to".

    Any idea why?

    Because they preferred that? :think

You go away for a couple days, you come back and Bute confirms he's ready to travel and fight top contender!!
Maybe if I stay off till Saturday,I'll come back to Floyd-Manny,Martinez-Chavez and Marquez-Morales.Maybe Ray Leonard can be 25 again!
In all truth and seriousness, this isn't really a surprise to me.Always felt Bute would be up for this and Interbox would be the ones against it.I think he wants to start attempting to leave a legacy and silence doubters. At least Froch won't need a clean KO or a 40 second knockdown to win now.
Doesn't matter.Anyone who knows boxing knows Froch will stop him inside a round.

I think that Pascal will take the Bute Bell center date in April so it make sense that a Bute-Froch fight will take place in UK , it's not offial but just me thinking!

So Butes first challenge was so pure, that the opponent PREFERRED to fight in Canada - Kessler and Froch had to go abroad vs top opponents.................

If Bute takes on Froch, Kessler and Ward next - i will give him credit - but Bute has to STEP IT UP - that's simple - and what the other fighters have been doing for years now......................

I think Markussen will win over Magee in a swinging hay maker fight. :!:

I would love that - Markussen could win a KO or TKO, but if the fight goes all 12 rounds....but lets see come Saturday ................

yes,you have a point there,Andre Dirrell is the best out there,i mean he once beaten Victor Oganov and let's not forget his stunning win over Darryl Cunningham. And how about Anthony,he tko a prime 39 years old Renan St Juste who only lost to Sammy Sparkman and Marcus Upshaw in 26 fights.Yes,this is what Bute needs,to fight one of the Dirrells,he will get so much credit for that
