Bute: I wish to fight Jack Badou - George Groves winner

so what exactly Paul Smith did to earn a fight with Ward? Overcharged Ward's bill when he was giving him a ride with his cab? Or Tommy Karpency who's fighting Superman Stevenson, what did he do, forgot to pay after banging one of pimp's hoe? You'd like to see those guys fighting some hobo rather than Bute? Are you even a boxing fan or just a simpleton?

 

Good for the division if Bute is back and looking good but he needs to earn his shot. He hasn't fought at 168 since he got Cobra'd over 3 years ago.

Bute never was an elite fighter, I always said he would get destroyed when he stepped up to an elite fighter or left his backyard and I was right. Bute is done, he'll never reach the top of SMW or LHW, he doesn't have the mental fortitude or skill set to do it. :hat

 

debatable, and i'd rather see Ward, Groves or even Stevenson fight Bute than Paul Smiths of the world. Even Kovalev vs Bute would be fun to watch and bet on

 

Bute vs Chavez Jr sounds about right. A has been vs a never was. Could be a good fight, though. I'd watch it.

 

Cant see Ward would want it. He wasnt interested in Bute when Bute was an undefeated world champ in the same division and in what would have been the biggest SMW fight at that time and the fight that was deemed the most dangerous for Ward. Wasnt interested in Bute at that time, even though Bute had fought more even if not better top 10 comp and had made more SMW title defences. Ward hadnt felt Bute had done enough then, even when it would have been a big unification bout, so I doubt ward would be interested now that Bute is not the same and has lost and not beaten any top rated fighters since

 

Same applies to Ward. But it´s business after all, even a small one.

 

Last time I checked Groves also got KTFO by Froch... We already know Bute can win at the international level, he doesn't have to go the steps a prospect has to. Bute is 35, the question is not if he can move on to the next level, like a young lion, but if he can still compete at the world level. Bute, like it or not, is a known name and that brings a lot in boxing.

 

What are you talking about? Kessler, Ward and Froch all avoided a fight with Bute in Montreal.The last accepted the fight only with all his conditions.Ward was the one who ducked Bute saying he doesn`t accept a fight with him not even in Oakland until he doesn`t fight Froch or Kesller.
