Bute(IBF) v Stieglitz(WBO) - what does it takes to make it happen ?

    Stieglitz would never make that fight. He makes good money and would lose his title. And its not like he'd be making enough of a name for himself to land other big fights in america....and even if he did he'd never win them...so basically he'd get ****ed up in a fight he wouldn't make enough money from that he couldn't capitalize on if he won. So I don't ever see it happening...

    Who else can Bute fight other than Ward, Abraham, Froch, Johnson, Dirrell, Steiglitz, and Kessler (injured)

    I didn't heard nothing about Martinez. I don't think there were talks about it.Kessler was the first one to get a call from Bute ,but he said he is not ready for a fight in March , let's hope his eye will heal. Dawson was called , but for a fight at 168, the answer was that he is not available at 168, I'm guessing he had Pascal rematch in mind.Pavlik was called to but they didn't want to discuss , he was about to enter rehab couple of days later. Stieglitz and Sartison are the only decent fights at Bute's natural weight, serious offers were made , both declined.
    After Magee he doesn't have many choices. The only fights at his own weight are not big enough for the fans and don't want to fight him.
    Because he doesn't want to go up in weight, adding muscle could result in him not being able to make 168 again with only 1 fight away from the Super Six winner. That leaves us with some of the LHW who are able to and want to drop down at a catchweight of 170lbs or 172lbs. Abraham would be out, but who would really want to see Bute fighting him? Not only that but he's thinking of making 160 again, and even if... would he accept to fight Bute after being outboxed by Froch and Ward ?
    My guess is Bute would have as optons:
    The winner of Froch v Johnson. better chance against his friend Johnson,Froch might prefer Pascal.
    And Hopkins or Dawson at a catchweight of 172 or 171,5 to perfectly correct,both fighters being at 3,5 lbs away from their weight classes.
