I just hope the winner or loser of S6 will be willing to fight him.... so far both guys have gone on record saying they won't give Bute a shot

Who cares if he was hurt while fighting tomato cans earlier in his career when all that matters is the first time he was tested he folded like a lawn chair and needed the referee to save him.

Nuthuggers such as yourself hate nothing more then when your imaginary world where there are fairies, unicorns and where Lucy Bute isn't a glass jawed disgrace is shatterd with a cold hard dose of reality :deal

I heard Froch say 3 weeks ago that he wasn't looking past Ward but Bute has been in his thoughts for the future.
A bit of a sweeping statement don't you think?
Both have stated categorically they will not fight Bute?

if Froch wins the final somehow he could fight someone like St Juste afterwards as an easy homecoming fight, i think thats quite possible
its up to interbox. they have a contract with St Juste too, have to respect and to deal in favor of his interests or at least could argue that way in case he wins tonight. so if they tell the S6 winner theres no Bute until St Juste got his shot then theres no other belt the S6 winner could unify next anyway.. After the Johnson fight, Butes handlers said they'd fight Froch in the UK if the money was right and all those stuff. since then, nothing has changed. the S6 final takes place in two weeks. and that interbox guy complains about how they haven't received any offers yet:nut how they want to stage their own show and how Froch or Ward have to agree to their terms if they want to land a fight with Bute. thats not gonna happen anyway

Not really. Froch has said he wanted to face Bute, then that Bute didn't diserve a shot. No possible conclusion here. Ward has said he'd love to face Bute, his coach said he could face other opponents.

The only thing we know is: money talks. Who can give the most money to Ward and Froch, except Bute? Kessler is the only one but he is tied with Stieglitz in April. If the winner faces Bute, he can get a third belt and hope to face Kessler for a very rare unification of the 4 straps. i think all the fans should hope for that. I want Bute to be part of that mini-tournament, win or lose.

There's about two valid critic people can have with Bute about him trying to be the best of his division.
1- Taking the next step in facing the best of the division.
    2- Fighting away from home.

One of the biggest way to critic him though is the one time (For wathever reason) he struggle against another boxer. The drama is because of the ref, so hate de ref not the boxer and even if you think he lost, what's the problem? A lot of people think Froch lost against Dirrell, so what, it doesnt erase his other accomplishments. So in my view any complains about the Andrade I fight is made by troll and haters.

So back on topic, if the only two legit critics are staying at home and not facing the best, then the news of this thread is a very good news and everyone should be happy. Bute's team is actively trying to find a way to have a shot at the S6 winners. Any realist way to do this is to make a fight in a neutral territory (for both fighters) and in a time zone that Showtime will want to make the fight happens. MSG is then a very good venue.

Anyone thinking this is not a very good news for boxing and for the 168 division, I dare you to prove me wrong. By the way things like "Bute is a glass jaw fraud" are not a valid point.

Froch pass more time trashtalking Bute then to talk about Ward. I hope that's mean he want to face Bute in the near future!

I'd love to see it. But, this is boxing so I'll believe it when it happens.

He has to beat all of them or either he isn't worthy of fighting the S6 Winner.

    :yep

With 1 gone (Johnson) the list consist in:
    Taylor
    Abraham
    Dirrell
    Ward/Froch
    Green
    Kessler

Thinking at 3 fights / year he would meat up with the super six winner in more than 2 years.

Meanwhile in his quest to prove himself worthy of the super six winner he will be ducking the super six years for more 2 years.

Hmm I don't know where you're going with all of this (my english isn't that good, and you seem to like sarcasms a lot, which isn't good for someone looking for serious discussions on an international website).. so let's start with your first post on this topic :

"so Bute already ducking the finals winner? using some inferior stablemate as an excuse to keep the S6 winner away from him?"

Look, if the S6 winner decides to take an easy fight, it has nothing to do with Bute. If it wasn't St-Juste, it would be someone else, so it better be a stablemate, don't you agree?

"Do you support the idea of matching the S6 winner with (who?) St. Juste (if he beats lil Dirrell) rather than with Bute?"

No Bute fan would like this idea, but if it happens, as I said earlier, the only one to blame is the S6 champion (and his handlers), not Bute.

"Butes handlers said they'd fight Froch in the UK if the money was right and all those stuff. since then, nothing has changed. the S6 final takes place in two weeks. and that interbox guy complains about how they haven't received any offers yet"

Good thing you're not a promoter. You really think they should wait after the S6 is over before trying to plan anything in the US? Because Bédard only said they would go to NY to see how things work, IN CASE they don't recieve any offer even after the S6 is over so they would have to promote a fight in the US.

If Croch and Andre Fraud refuse to take the fight in NYC, that would be an impressive and disgraceful ducking of their part!

Agreed. Plus Bute is an irrelevence in the division.

Not sure about Ward, but if Froch wins the S6 I think he'll be looking for far bigger fights than Lucy Bute(not that Bute would ever agree to fight Froch in the UK anyway)

    :yep Your right bright mind.

Bute has been shifting in rankings between 1-3 for the last 4 years in the division, you must be right. He actually was rabked #1, a thing that Froch haven't succeeded in doing so far.

2010-11-06 Glen Johnson TKO Allan Green. "Wow! Johnson is looking good at SMW. He's a beast!"

2011-06-04 Carl Froch MD Glen Johnson. "Great win for Froch! Johnson is a real warrior! When will Bute step up and fight someone worthy like Froch/Ward/Kessler/Jonhson?"

2011-11-05 Lucian Bute UD Glen Johnson. "Johnson is shot. When will Bute step up and fight someone worthy like Froch/Ward/Kessler?"

Why when a fighter loss to Bute he suddenly become 'shot' or a 'tomato can' ?

Why is Johnson a legitimate adversary when Froch beat him, but not when it's Bute?
Why are Bika and Mirande letigimate wins for Ward and not for Bute?
