If they want to fight the S6 winner yes, then they should sit down until Froch and Ward got their jobs done. because thats how it works you enter negotiations open minded and sort out the best deal if you really want a fight to happen and you don't try to dictate any preconditions that might disclose the fight at the end of the day. If Froch wins the final and wants to fight at home and theres reasonable money, whats the problem? If St Juste becomes a mandatory its up to interbox if they enforce the shot or if they get him some other solid fight or pay him some step aside fee and instead get Bute a deal to fight the S6 winner or whatever. Of course neither Froch or Ward will drop that green belt because of St Juste, if they have to take care of the business then it is what it is. If i was Butes promoter he would have been in the S6 if not in the starting lineup then i'd have talked him into one of all these replacements spots. also i'd have fired that matchmaker years ago that came up with all these Magee, Brinkley, Mendy look alikes. and if a fight with the S6 winner ain't possible next because Ward/Froch trying to duck my man Bute, i'd tell him to drop that IBF belt and go for Balzsay and his WBA belt. grudge match because of their amateur history, very marketable fight. if Bute wins i'd slip in some check to some WBA dudes so that they enforce a mandatory shot on their super champion, the S6 winner, quickly for Bute

Many of them feel that he does not deserve it, they feel because they have participated in this tournament that have more a of right to claim stake at the division....

But if Bute doesn't deserve a shot a the S6 winner..... who does?

Who will be worthy of the S6 winner at SMW?

Sorry sir but you seem really misinformed.. Where should I start..

First, they aren't trying to dictate anything? They're planning on going to NY to see how things work, IF they EVER need to promote a fight in the US, IF they recieve no offer (like the example you gave about Froch wanting the fight in England) after the S6 is over.

Well for this paragraph, sorry man I can't help you since boxing isn't as simple as you seem to think it is.. BTW, about Magee, it was Showtime's choice, Brinkley and Mendy were mandatories in a very strict organisation. About the S6 replacement, you think Interbox has enough power and money to force their fighter into the tournament? Well they don't.

Balzsay refused I dunno how many offers from Bute camp, you think he would accept now? And I hope you're kidding me about the "very marketable fight"?? Damn dude, Balzsay, come on.. lol

they want to fight in April in NY, MSG, so they're trying to set a date and a venue. after the S6 final they'll be like heres the date, thats the money take it or leave it. thats not gonna work out. Magee was as much a Sho choice as Miranda was a HBO choice, they did accept those guys, barely, thats it. whats wrong with Balzsay when that belt he has allows interbox to enforce a shot on the S6 winner to a i believe 45-55 split if it goes to purse bids? Balzsay pwnd Bute multiple times in the amateurs and has a belt. also he didn't turn anything down moreover hes agreed to fight Bute in Montreal on HBO a week or two before he faced Stieglitz the only problem was that he couldn't get his homework done and lost, basically the same thing that happened to Bute in Andrade I

Now i remember same convo about when Pavlik was #1 contender in WBC. And I think it was laffie that said Even though pavlik is mando for who- ever has WBC belt, BUTE can jump in it since he already has a Belt (IBF)

    so has the rules changed???

Who had Pavlik beat at 168 to be #1 contender again?

And Escopeta, Sho & HBO didn't "barely accept" those guys, they chose them. End of.

This should be seen as great news, even by the haters who say Bute doesn't deserve a shot. That "who is more deserving than Bute" question still hasn't been answered by any of them.

The glass jawed fraud / corrupt ref BS is just hot air, as mentioned before. No bearing, no meat to support it, no relevance. Period.

Even better if Dirrell comes back in top shape, right? Ward / Froch / Bute / Kessler / Dirrell mixing it up in 2012, everyone's a winner. :D

Bute can fight and I dont see him taking a back seat to any fighter at 168.

I agree they have a better stake because of the tourny but it's not Bute's fault he ain't in it, he would have jumped at the chance. And outside of the tournament he has fought better fighter than Ward.

There is not one fighter out there more deserving than Bute for the S6 winner..... Kessler is shot goods, Dirrell hasn't even fought since Abraham and Bute has beaten every like opponent that him and Ward have had with far greater ease, he also beat Johnson a lot easier than Froch did. You're kidding yourself if you think there's a better challenge for the S6 winner than Bute.

I just wanna see Bute vs Ward or Froch and see what we get.....but seems none of the Bute haters wanna see this happen. They're happy saying Bute doesn't deserve it and having Froch or Ward fight a shot Kessler or a bum like Stieglitz. As boxing fans don't you want to see the top of the division face each other? Baffles me that backers of Ward and Froch want them to duck Bute based on not being worthy when he's clearly the most worthy challenger out there.

Bute won't even sell 50% of the MSG Theater.
