I noticed a lot of people have been saying this since the Ward fight. DOn't you think Froch was just being Froch? And Ward being on another league... Maybe I should watch older Froch's fights but I didn't notice any major degradation.
I'm not for a second going to use it as some sort of pre-emptive excuse.Not a bit of it. But most Froch fans acknowledge he got very old in one night against Ward.When you're presenting theories on how the fight will go (at least from a Froch POV) I'm afraid this aspect just can't be ignored.It may well have been the fact that he was all at sea and completely devoid of ideas,but when a fighter reaches his age and has been involved in so many hard fights,it must be taken into consideration.But only when discussing the fight and not when analysing the result. Just a cold,hard fact I'm afraid.It won't have any bearing when discussing the result...unless Froch loses of course.:hey
No problem with that but first, people would have to explain what makes them think he got old? That is what I am asking. I wasn't one bit surprised at the result of Ward-Froch (only that Ward was more aggressive than I thought he would be)
