Bute is waiting for the winner of Green-De Leon

Green had better perform well then. Although I'd rather Bute faced someone better, the upside of him facing Green in June would be that Taylor wouldn't, if he beats Froch. This would increase the chance of a unification fight between Bute and Taylor if Bute managed to get past a certain Andrade, which is by no means a given.

 

What about Bika? Weren't there rumours Bute would face him again? He declined a fight against Pascal looking for bigger things, and now these bigger things seem to have failed to materialise. Of course, I'm hoping he would this time agree to fight Andrade. Wouldn't that be a great fight!

Bute vs. Green and Andrade vs. Bika on the same card. Sounds good to me.

 

No way either of these guys take a title fight with no time in between the fights. Bute should have taken Miranda's challenge before he signed on to fight Ward. There is nobody out there he can fight now.

 

I agree it's unlikely, for the very reason you gave. Bika is the only credible option, I think.

Andrade already said he need to heal his shoulder before facing Bute in a rematch and he was talking of another fight before it!

Andrade is set for the fall.Any unification figth is next year.

 

Because Andrade doesn't want the rematch now, he's injured and he also said he wants to take another fight before. At the end it's just better for him, if Bute unifies..

 

Green will fight Taylor next, if both win, they both work with Di Bella. Bute should stop avoiding the big fights and go for the winner of Taylor - Froch instead.

Anyway, Bika, Dirrel, Andrade, Kessler, Balzsay are all available and will make pretty good fights.

Balszay's with Universum. He'll never fight another live body unless it's his mandatory or another Universum fighter.

Kessler's not fighting anyone due to the strife between himself and Mogens Palle.

Dirrell is supposedly on the table. I doubt Green will fight Bute because if Green looks good (and Taylor wins), then DiBella will want to keep Green away from tough fights so he can threaten to have Taylor fight Green, thus increasing his leverage to get a big purse. If Taylor loses, then Bute-Green is probably very likely.

 

If Taylor loses, Bute vs. Froch is even more likely. In my view, Bute is attending this fight not so much for Green, but to be matchmade in the eyes of the public with the winner of Taylor vs. Froch.

I don't think Bute or Interbox know whom he'll fight next yet.

 

Down the line, sure, but the winner of that fight is probably going to want more than 2 months to prepare for a unification.
