    Just because you write a novel doesn't make things a fact... I'm actually quite disappointed to see so many people think interbox statements a facts... Hell I never bought into Sauerlands bull**** as well.

    But I guess it is up to you what you want to believe... Just don't call it facts you :nut

    This annoys me, Bute fans like yourself think everyone else is being "unfair" on Lucian Bute :huh

    I hope that is not directed at me, I feel this thread is warranted considering the other Bute threads and a lot of the bitching within them.





    I haven't knocked his ability, but I agree it must be frustrating being a Bute fan and knowing he could and should be fighting better competition.






    Again, I haven't mentioned Bute ducked the S6 or anything

    Look, you seem clearly passionate about Bute, but I really couldn't give a flying **** about him being in or out of the S6, and I haven't alluded to that ............. you are getting into Politics which is something I dislike about the Sport and something I tend not to trust in. Just sayin.



    As stated above, Politics is something I distrust, not saying shady stuff is not going down, for a variety of reasons, but I aint going to pretend what I hear or what someone says is Gospel, there's always two sides to a story ........ and there is grey area too.

    I'm not going to comment further on this point.





    I'm not stating fighters dont "duck" each other, for whatever reasons. But I think it is harsh to suggest Ward has no desire to fight Bute period if that is what you mean.




    Froch doesn't and never has come across as being a ducker in any way, shape or form as far as I can see.

    Summary - You had a bit of a rant there, which borders on ridiculous at the end. Your frustration mirrors mine to be honest, Bute Fans like yourself are pulling their hair out because they think Ward and Froch are and have been ducking their man blatantly. They have a great fight and rivalry brewing with Pascal in their own backyard that aint happening, everything is a dead-end it seems! You seem so frustrated about all this but that frustration is what annoys me about Bute Fans like yourself.


    For what it is worth I think your boy gives everyone from 168 to 175 hell if his chin holds up and I want to see him in with guys like Ward, Froch, Pascal, Hopkins, Dawson and Dirrell too ............ just please stop blaming everyone, guys who have fought the best available to them home and away whilst blindly nuthugging someone who aint exactly a globetrotter himself.

    your being very selective, so hershman is wrong when he say bute was not invited to the s6, still have a bunch saying he was scared... bute is lowballing, pavlik admited he made a mistake, kessler never counterd (dont care how low the amout was) no counter offer... i dont expect you to believe all that is said from interbox, this is not the issue. boxing comunaty all agree to say bute is up there with the best, and still we hear...he hasint faced anyone of value, well they have bin in the s6 for the past two years...on a side note how did you rate the s6 fighters before the tuny started?

    Maybe Kessler coutered maybe he didn't. I still think Kessler is going the right route. Fight Stieglitz and get a belt. Fight Froch, Bute or Ward and see what happens.

    I think Bute belongs in the top 4 which i stated before... Maybe he is the top dawg maybe not. For the sake of boxing I hope we will find out.

    Everyone wants to watch these fights. Just hope they get made.

    Yes, I'm frustrated too. Interbox has made so many offers for their fighter to fight top SMW's in a venue that draws the most $$$$. Politics.

    Ward aint exactly a globetrotter himself, but if he offered Bute 3-5 mil, I gotta think Bute would take the fight in Andre's basketball court, with Dre's mom, dad, and brother as the ringside judges, so long as there were a nuetral ref to count to ten as Ward lies on his back. NO WAY Ward lasts the distance, so the judges, in any venue, chosen by any promoter will not come into play so long as the referee is NEUTRAL and calls fouls properly and allows Bute to punch.

    As for Froch, NO, he aint a ducker, but he has to realize he is at a severe disadvantage against Bute, and would likely need a hometown decision to win. This is of course why he will not fight Lucien in Canada, but from what has been published, Interbox is seeking an american promoter to make the fight in New England or New York. Hell, Philly would be a good place to make it, or even Germany.

    What else is there for Bute to do. Showtime was footing the 2 mil guarentee for Kessler, that was NEVER in question.....and as for options, IDK, but playing politics to duck and not counter is BS, and seriously, Steiglitz CAN fight Bute if he wants to.....and IMO, Interbox needs to give Steiglitz their largest purse to steal him from Kessler.....it's the only way we'll finally see Ward or Froch or Kessler actually get in the ring with Bute.......

    I HONESTLY expect to see Ward vs Despaigne before I see ward/Bute, and that makes me sick.:-(
