Let's not overestimate the knocking out of 2 jabroneys. World class ones, yes. But jobbers nonetheless.
He should move up and challenge the winner of Dawson-Pascal. Then the winner of that meets the winner of the Super Six eventually.
Pay him no mind he's a complete idiot. Notice the "he is to the trained eye the very best at 168" he thinks he's some great boxing expert and knows more then everybody else. And if you disagree with him he'll insult you. He has yet to say a smart thing on this forum.
In my opinion, he does make the Super 6 at least a little bit irrelevant, not because he becomes all of the sudden the undisputed king of SMW but because the goal of the S6 (which is to find the real number one) won't be reached without making a fight between the winner and this undefeated boxer .
Fair point. But two tough jabronis, none the less. To KO those two that easily, that is impressive. Even if Miranda has been around the bend a few times.
Honestly, from what I've seen so far? I think this is how Bute does against the super 6/Pavlik. Ward: Loses. I don't think Bute can get enough looks against the headbutt champ. Dirrell: Loses. Chasing Dirrell all night and it'd be a very boring fight but Dirrell would take it on accuracy and defense. Abraham: Wins. This would be a great fight but Abraham would let Bute do too much and get too many looks because of it. Probably a UD but yea. Green: Really no idea. All I can say is going on what we've seen of Green, Bute wins it. Froch: Bute knocks him clean out. Kessler: Probably a decent fight that Bute sweeps more rounds in. UD for Bute. Pavlik: Going on what we know of Pavlik he is the best in those weight classes for anyone who stays in his path. Bute not quite as big as Hopkins, not quite as consistent or tactical. This is a great fight that I hope happens. Could be a knockout for either guy.
Actually, they would have done way better. I would love to see a Froch-Andrade clash just to see the two fighters constantly crashing in eachother and eating a tremendous amount of punches.:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb I reckon Andrade would do a great job in such a match.
By beating guys that people in the Super Six have already beat? Bute should've been invited to the tournament though.
I think that is putting it too strong. But unless the winner beats Bute, he's not undisputed. Same goes for Bute - he may be No.1, but unless he beats the winner, he's not The Champ.
By beating him more impressively, Bute makes the tournament impossible to crown a SMW king. That doesn't make him the king for now.
