On what evidence? It's easy to look good against mediocre competition, it's been seen time and time again. I think Froch and Kessler would give him fits. Hopefully time will tell.

 

He tired badly and got a let off against Andrade. He's a good solid champion but I think a Froch could eventually outman him.

Bute could put Froch over and out though. Hits harder than Taylor, and he has that speed that Froch doesn't deal very well with. I think Kessler suits Bute a little more because he's less awkward than Froch. Especially in his current guise, Kessler's lost a step or two as a boxer and just fights using pressure now and thats going to give Bute a lot of opportunities. He's one of the better counterpunchers going around.

 

Agreed. I'm not saying Bute is ****, he has a lot going for him. I think Froch would take his shots and keep landing his own resulting in Bute crumbling around round 8-10. Bute was at the Taylor fight doing a bit of a reccie on Froch. He decided to abort the mission.
