It was an inevitable robbery. Just look at the number of SD 2 of the judges have been involved with.

Heh. When I heard the first judge had it even, I jotted down his name, convinced that was the p.o.s. who scored Matthyse-Judah for Judah and thinking I'd look up his judging record on boxrec. Then I heard the 2 other scores, and wondered how they managed to make it that close. Turned out those scores were somehow in favour of Williams... I've seen quite a few robberies, but this one is the worst I can remember since Campillo-Shumenov.

Actually, Paul Williams now hasn't clearly won a fight in over 2 years and he will probably still be headlining a HBO card in his next fight. Being an American with a powerful promotor is a ridiculously big advantage in this sport. For comparison's sake: Campillo hasn't even gotten his rematch with Shumenov, 18 months on after being robbed in Las Vegas.

 

That's what you get when you have Al Haymon as your Manager. The judges were definitely given their envelope.

Also, why was Williams rated so highly? I've never understood that hype he used to have. He's terrible.

Only just watched Lara-Williams, scored it 116-112 Lara."Robbery" is thrown around too much on here, but that was one of the worst decisions in recent memory.
