Hopkins fights dirty and Pavlik couldn't handle him. Ward is even faster than Bhop is and that was the main difference in that fight. Dirrell the same. Speed is the difference there.

As to Kessler, he is much more technically solid. He will beat a guy like Pavlik at all times. Set his feet outside, pound his jab-right hand into the face of Pavlik and move out of harms way. Different fighters do different things. I don't ask you to find videos of Pavlik using a philly shell. It is easy to see one fighter doing something then requesting a video of a different fighter doing the same. Kessler is faster than Pavlik and punches straighter and crisper, even if Pavlik does punch harder (which he may not at 168).

Abraham was more a case of him actually doing the things Pavlik does better, even if he fights differently. He hits harder, faster and has better defence. Easy one for AA.

Pavlik is just as easy to hit as is Froch.

Also, it is not that i hate Pavlik in any way. I like his style and all, but i can't see him beating these guys.

Oh and another thing; i really wouldn't call Pavlik and Abraham polar-opposites. That is way over the top. Both are outside fighters, power punchers, with a good jab-straight right.

Abraham is a more defensive boxer than Pavlik. Pavlik has a much higher workrate. Abraham waits for his opponents to come to him (at least at the beginning of his fights), while Pavlik pressures them. That may not be the opposite but they are two different boxers. That's why it would be a good match up. Pavlik would go for it from the start, Abraham would counter. Dirrell-Abraham may be a dull figt though.

I think I will buy a cheap ticket, just to be in the Bell Center. I did it against Zuniga. I wanted to go to a bar but it was "sold out". I decided to go to the Bell Center instead, bought the cheapest ticket and watched the fight on the big screen. It was fun and not expensive.
