in 3 months back to back we have 3 of our top Canadian fighters in title fights and Molitor even in a unification fight for the first time in Canadian history (i think?) Canadian fighters are really stepping up in class. Although Alcine lost a fight that I thought was very competitive against Santos it was nice to see someone from here against that quality opposition and now it seems the other fighters are following in the same path. pretty ****ing exciting! :canada
If Ontario can get its boxing straightened out like Quebec did then we should see more quality boxers coming out of Canada. Bute - Andrade Pascal- Froch Molitor- Caballero All of these are winnable fights in my eyes. Anyone have word on what Diaconu's future plans are?
Hey, you gotta hand it to them. They got a good thing going up there in Montreal right now. Even Molitor has started training up there with all those other guys. I can't think of a time when Canada had this many champs and top contenders... and they all train together! Bute, Pascal, Molitor, Alcine, Adrian The Shark, Ngoudjo, +++ Jean Bergeron gave Valuev a decent test, and is fighting Dominick Guinn soon,,, Troy Ross is going to be on the new Contender Series... and Chuvalo STILL hasn't been knocked off his feet!
Diaconu his fighting his mandatory challenger (Silvio Branco) on November 8th and then he will fight Glen Johnson I believe.
