Bute must do whatever it takes to try to fight the winner of Ward vs Froch next

You could well be right, and they'll probably have to go to Canada to do it.
You're also right about the very first fight, they probably deserve a good earner with a hometown routine defence. After that,no excuses. As for the loser,Bute will probably see that as an opportunity to fight a big name AND keep it in Montreal. That is for me,a more likely outcome.

Well Kessler wont fight Bute because he is WBC Champion emetrius or something like that means he is first inline for WBC shot. So unless the winner of super 6 dont wanna get stripped they'll have to fight him.

I disagree. Of course Bute shouldn't go into negotiations giving away everything. But at the end of the day, if Bute doesn't agree to the fight because he's got the lesser terms, I would not be happy.

I don't think it matters if Bute gets robbed - it wouldn't to me, anyway. It wouldn't even matter if Bute lost fair and square. What's important is that Bute dares to be great, and puts in the best performance he is capable of, for his legacy and for the fans. The rest is bull****.

Bute is not Jo Jo Dan. Bute is a millionaire. He will make more millions even if he loses against the winner. He is a star and he will be even more loved if he does whatever it takes to fight the best - he will be an even bigger draw in the USA and in Quebec.

You're having a laugh. The WBC will not say no against a unification fight against Bute. All they care about is money. No one will get stripped, at least not of anything worth anything. If the winner of the s6 becomes undisputed, unfied champion by beating Bute, do you think anyone will say: "but, but, he's been stripped by the WBC - he cannot be the real champ!" ?

I would try and argue that you'll find several threads where I've been relieved where we were able to have balanced discussion on these matters but you'll probably pull a gangster move and tell me to STFU
The ultimate weapon of the pea-brained dickhead.
Say what you want Booty boy but I wasn't being disingenuine.
Thought you made good points at first but you're the one showing your true colours.
I'm no hater,I'm a rater when it comes to Bute. It's the Booty boys who I don't rate. :****
There are Bute fans who don't come into that category

Bute has been on the easy road for quite a few years now. The Super Six is over this month so he has no excuses. Fight the winner!

If Ward wins it, I think we're looking at Ward vs Ant. Dirrell in Oakland next.

If Froch wins it, my money is on a Kessler fight, neutral territory or not.

A S6 finale rematch is also possible. They both seem to believe Bute needs to "fight more S6 worthy opposition" before they take him on. Andre Dirrell comes to mind.

Decebal, I know it would be awesome if Bute were to fight the winner, but I believe fighting the loser -Froch IMO- is substantially more likely to happen. Bute vs Froch at MSG in April/May, that kind of scenario.

Bute has a 25K stadium date for August, that's his 2nd next fight coming up. The Montreal media were announcing it as a done deal.

An outside fight (PEPS stadium, ULaval) vs the winner in August, considering the money involved, is not impossible.

    Well put.

I hope you are right but I feel it's more like wishful thinking though. I fear that Interbox will be reluctant to give Bute the chance for careerdefining fights as they'll risk losing their golden goose.

Even though I think Bute will have to fight his mando next, it's still possible to make the fight in 2012. Hell even the s6 loser will do, but chances are that Interbox will not allow Bute to travel to Nottingham or jOakland for a fight against the loser.

    Hopefully I'm too pesimistic.
