Bute must do whatever it takes to try to fight the winner of Ward vs Froch next

Bute is the biggest draw at smw division :) , in Canada . His promoter will try to set a fight with the s6 winner in America , but I think the s6 winner ( Ward / Froch ) will fight with Kessler , so it remains a fight with the s6 loser in Canada / America for Bute's IBF title !
If both ( s6 winner & loser ) won't accept a fight with Bute from various reasons ( money , venue , fear ) , Bute can move up at LHW and have some good fights with Hopkins,Cloud,Dawson ,Pascal .....

If Bute move to 175 right now he will have waste 2 years waiting for the S6 winner.

Bute can have 1 or 2 big fights at LHW (with Hopkins,Pascal) and then to have some fights with ward, froch or kessler at smw or at a catch weight .

MJK,I was only referring to the fact it was nice to see a thread about Bute/Froch/Ward where it wasn't about Froch ducking or trashtalking.I tried to make reasonable points but copped a load of unnecessary **** from the OP.
I was trying to say I liked he was demanding that Bute demand a fight with the winner. As has been mentioned before,I think he's far more likely to fight the loser first as the winner probably won't want to jump straight into the next hardest fight out there without having a homecoming defence.I also think Bute owes his fans and should demand this fight to back up their faith in him.
As for bheing a hater,I've praised Bute many times,in fact I think he'd be just as tough an opponent for Froch as Ward,if not more so.

According to most people here Ward, Froch and Kessler have nothing else left at 168 so the logical thing for them will be to go to LHW. The SMW will be depleted and left with nothing else but the "cab drivers" that Bute has feasted on all this time.

AHAHAHHA! I can barely wait the finish of this damn tournament. I want to see what path will Ward take. He will be THE MAN if he beats Carl but he'll still have a lot of fights in him. I want to see him bombarding Pascal with offers and coming to Canada on his knees. Lol, even Stieglitz, Pavlik, Sartison and Andrade will be courted like Marilyn Monroe.

They HAVE to go to LHW.

Believe me, this torunament has depreciated boxers to an extreme extent. There is no interest in seeing any other SMW other than S6'ers and Bute.

    Nope. Badlok is right.

Wasn't the reason he didn't fight Pascal at 175lbs because he was waiting for the winner of the s6?

Bute won't be able to go back down after growing into 175lbs. He won't even be able to make a catch-weight fight.

These are all excuses and false avenues - Bute needs to fight the s6 finalists next year, and then he can move up for good.

Yes, and I hope Interbox/Bute have learned from the failure to get Kessler to fight Bute. Not only need they do whatever it takes, they need to be seen to do whatever it takes.:good

Bute has to lead on this. He has to apply pressure too, in this dance. :)

Lucian should stay active, Dirrell was calling him out so that's a pretty obvious fight to be made in the meanwhile. It'd bring great US exposure and a very tricky contestant that'd enable him to prepare for the S6 winner in great fashion.

Sure, if it's not Ward/Froch/Kessler next, Dirrell is my preferred choice too. Finally a slick/fast/athletic fighter - one of the best talents in boxing.

Since Dirrell brings nothing to the table, he'd better agree to the smaller purse, in Quebec.

It makes most sense in Quebec at this moment.

The Joe Louis Arena is also a very good arena for a fight of this magnitude, I doubt they'd have a hard time filling the arena with a Dirrell vs. Bute fight, and it'd enable Lucian to reach the US market even more. :good

Dirrell would bring a whole new level of style that Bute has not yet seen, which is a very valuable experience for him. It'd help him prepare for the S6 winner.

A Bute-Dirrell fight needs to be fairly close to Bute's fanbase, since Dirrell has none. MSG in April, whether that's Froch, Ward or Dirrell, seems like a done deal destination for Bute after reading what Bédard had to say to the media yesterday.

Joe Louis Arena marketing director: "Who the **** is Andre Dirrell?"

Ofcourse MSG is a big boxing venue.

But JLA and Detroit need some love aswell, I'm sure Bute has a lot of fans in Michigan. :good

Are you being sarcastic..? I can't tell anymore. You changed your opinion/views on Bute, so yeah I can't tell. :D

The trip to NYC is more interesting to Canadian Bute fans than the trip to good ol' Detroit, I can tell you that much.

Although being close to T dot here, I wouldn't mind driving to Windsor and crossing the border myself... :yep
