that's what i wanted to say , If Bute doesn't fight the S6 winner then he's been fighting b and c levels fighters for nothings since 2 years , the only reason we accept it was because it was too dangerous to go at 175lbs and comeback at 168 without health risk , if Bute move to 175 he need to build those 7 pounds into muscles!

    Delusional.

As long as Bute is making good money fighting C level fighters in his backyard, he will continue to do so. It's that simple.

If the mugs stop paying for his **** fights he will be forced into taking on one of the big boys. It's upto to you nuthuggers to finally open your eyes and see what's right infront of you.

Bute should be willing to make some concessions, but he is part of the draw and entitled to respectable compensation. His reputation for offering lowball contracts to fight in his backyard will be cemented if he doesn't make it happen.

Agreed, and the Interbox prez was on record yesterday saying he is "willing to take a step back financially to open the doors to world class / elite opposition to Bute", when asked if 6K people @ MSG was 'appealing' to him.

$400K to Sartison in Dec 2010, and $1.35M to Rehab Pavlik last summer isn't lowballing.

Arum said Interbox offered $750K of their own pocket to Sauerland as a baseline offer for a Bute-Kessler fight that would have also included Showtime money & Danish PPV revenues for Sauerland, and Sauerland dismissed it as a "1 Danish Krone" offer. Way to ****in go. That, and the fact everybody knew Kessler was gunning for Stieglitz's WBO belt by having the Bouadla fight sanctioned for some Euro WBO paper title.

That "Bute lowballed Kessler" thread created the reputation you're talking about. It's all based on bias & speculation.

Bute is the biggest draw by far of these 3 fighters. He will not and should not fight in Oakland after the Kessler debacle, and Ward's dirty cheating. If he has to fight Ward in America, fine, just not in California. From a money standpoint Ward should go to Canada though, like Hopkins did with Pascal, and Ward is not as big as Hopkins and Bute is bigger in Canada than Pascal is.

I have to say Bute and his camp are saying all the right thing at the moment.

Looks like Ward is ducking him. He's been crowned champ by the American boxing establishment so he's happy avoiding Bute.

    Shame.

The Bute camp must make the ducking even more apparent. :good
