If Interbox puts Bute in the same ring with Carl Froch next spring, they need a head check right away. Bute is not ready to even look at Froch.

I hope it's purely a confidence thing with Bute because with his style you do need confidence to be at your best. I hope it's not that he's damaged goods and won't be the same again.

Definitely shouldn't be fighting Froch next though.

When are you going to realize Bute will never be ready for Froch ? :think

He was at a top form in May 2012 and he still got raped and trashed like ****. He'll probably never go back to that shape. I'll never see Bute winning against Froch, NEVER.

Bute's entire career has been a tune up. He's 32 already and been a pro for 9 years, there's nothing left to "tune up". He's a one trick pony that got exposed when he finally stepped up. There's so many things Bute would have to change in order to beat Froch, he'd need essentially another 9 years to learn it all, and even then he likely doesn't have the mental fortitude to win. He's simply not elite.

He was exposed as a world class fighter who isn't elite. Not too bad if you ask me.

I don't know what it is, but it looks like Bute has lost something

can't place a finger on it, but something's not right, he ate a lot of needless punches from an average fighter last night, I don't see him in the same ring with Froch again

Bute has nothing, and will find nothing that will help him beat Froch.
Froch beat him in every department.
Bute caught Froch with his trademark punches, and they had zero effect,Bute knew he was finished as soon as he landed those shots and realised he had nothing to keep Froch at bay.
Considering Bute was supposed to be the technician,it was Froch who was beating him to the jab, drawing his lead hand, and countering him with big shots.
Froch is not a devastating one punch KO artist, but he is very heavy handed and an accumulation of big shots is what he use's to stop his opponents.Yet he managed to rock Bute with a short left cross early in the fight, and every clean shot he landed had Bute hurt.
Bute's boxing skills are very overrated, his power isn't that special, and its obvious that it was the poor level of competition before Froch that allowed him to look better than he is.
It is another Dirrell v Abraham scenario imo,Dirrell laid the blueprint to beating Abraham,i think Froch has done the same with Bute.
Pressure Bute and catch him with big shots and he crumbles mentally, and becomes completely negative and defensive minded.
