Andre will be fighting possibly Anthony Dirrell according to the WBC as his Mandatory. Seriously though i would like to see Bute step up to the plate and fight Kessler first and prove he belongs in the ring with Ward. Seem like he has had to much of an easier ride to me!!! Thoughts

Bute want's to step up and fight Ward. You and Ward seems to have a problem with that.
Care to share what that problem is?

Kessler fights Stieglitz in April. Is Bute supposed to wait 9 months for him?

Anthony would be wise to walk away from the mandatory. He has a much better shot becoming the mando for Stieglitz.

My problem is that to be the best you have to fight the best and in boxing there is a so called ladder and Bute not being in this excellent competition and not having a resume at all like the top guys in the comp and just getting a shot at the winner stinks and i think either Kessler or Froch fight is in order!!! Problem solved:hi:

Have to agree with this. Froch deserves a easy home coming fight next but he's not the type of guy to take a easy fight. Froch vs bute would be ideal then if froch wins he gets the kessler vs Stieglitz winner, bute wins he gets ward.

Bute was number 2 when they started the tournament. You can't avoid a fighter in letting him out of a tournament involving the supposedly 6 best fighters of the category when you left the second one out. It doesn't work like that.

Are you afraid Bute would beat Ward? If not, why don't you want that fight? And who would be better than Bute? I'm waiting for a name.

Bute better do something. Ward's coming off a string of the best possible competition and will be sharp as nails.

Since Froch lost today Bute is #2 SMW. Bute has been in Top 3 SMW for about 4 years now.At a certain point he also was #1 in the division.
I think he's decent enough and the only one in the SMW division who has a right to even consider himself as worthy as Bute is Kessler.
Bute has fought excellent fighter most of them were the best available at the weight.

Dirrell has not made his comeback yet. He's not available for a while and I don't know why he would be more worthy to face Ward than Bute. Your opinion is based on strange facts.

First of all no i'm not afraid that Bute would beat Ward i'm a boxing fan and would love the fight i just feel that Ward has been on a mission to get where he is and the sam cannot be said for Bute and i feel he need to step up as said in the title of this thread. Not that his a better fighter than Bute but Anthony Dirrell will be next for Ward as he is #1 mandatory and i believe the WBC have ordered this and i believe that Ward would want to hang on to the belt!

Lastly am i talking to Bute's left testicle now!!!
