Bute needs to step up, not Ward!!!

no it's not at all. He was supposed to fight dirrell in the super six, dirrell never lost to froch and thats a well accepted fact by most and froch is my favourite fighter. I said before that, that if dirrell comes back in good fashion then he should fight ward. I'm not talking about anytime soon, i'm talking about before he moves upto 175.

So let me get this straight Bute isn't worthy... but Anthony Dirrell is.
Did you know that the first guy from SMW top20 that Anthony fought was the 39 years old Renan St. Just the guy from the eliminator?

 

Well, explain then why Anthony is a worthy opponent for Ward.

 

according to dan rafael, ward says bute needs to fight an A level guy if he wants a shot, and ward says if it's "the right fight," he'll fight at light heavyweight. those can only be the winner of hopkins-dawson or pascal.

 

Don't exagerate. Ward faced Bika, Green and Abraham. Those were not tough fights. The 2 tougher opponents for Ward have been his first one and his last one. There was 2 years between them.

You seem to search for excuses. Why wouldn't a boxing fan want a Bute-Ward fight?

I dont know why a fan wouldnt want want a bute-ward fight, but do us all a favor and don't downplay ward's accomplishments. green wasn't a tough fight, BIKA WAS TOUGH, and abraham was dangerous but outclassed. ward did what he was supposed to do and absolutely dominated each of them, not to mention both kessler and froch were dominated too. you have to respect that. he's dominated both the tough fights and the fights that weren't what you deem to be tough, and all that indicates is that he's a cut above.

 

I wonder what A leel fighter Ward will fight while waiting for Bute? Anthony Dirrell? That's called a prospect.

We have a chance for a 3 belts unification here. The timing won't be there very long. And I thought Ward was ambitious. atsch

 

The things that you want to say but because the brain is overworked cant come out are:
-Ward needs 1 or 2 easy fights to recuperate before taking on some1 of Bute skills
-Meanwhile Bute needs to step up and take guys like Froch, Andre Dirrell or Kessler so he won't be as fresh as he is now, and build up the mega fight a little in the process. Getting more press and more fans attention and getting them more excited about the fight.

 

That was not my intention. Ward did what he had to do in all his fights. I want to see Ward and Bute face eachother because I think they are the 2 best fighters of the division. I rank Ward at the number 1 spot since he beat Kessler. I was only answering to a sentence stating he was on a mission. Bute has faced Bika too but I won't say he was on a mission when he did it. That's going a bit too far for me.

 

Should we put the vid were Ward been put on qeer streets by a guy who isn't even a gatekeeper? That's how relevant is that video.
